This is a great ice maker ***** easy to install, has a drain pump which means it throws off water as it melts which means less work for the owner!We have had ours for two years, works hard and we love it! We live in a hot climate and use lots of ice. We had to replace the solenoid valve about 6 months ago, a $7 part! It's working hard again!We have to clean it occasionally with a food grade cleaner to prevent lime buildup!OVERALL WE LOVE THIS ICE MAKERThank you costway for an affordable home ice maker!

We have only had this ice maker since late January 2023 and within the last month or so it’s been making a loud screeching noise which sounds like it might stop working any day now. I would like to find out how to contact the manufacturer for resolution of this annoying issue and before the problem gets worse and the machine stops working. Not happy!Update now it leaks constantly! I’ve sent multiple emails to the company with pretty much no response besides sorry we can have someone come repair at my cost.Do not purchase this item as I’ve seen all kinds of reviews online for how other customers are having the same issues.

This was a great ice maker up until the point it completely died at 6 months and a couple of days, just past the 6 month warranty. NOTE that the Costway website states a 1 year warranty, but apparently this is dumbed down to 6 months if you buy on amazon. I called no less than 10 service company's to repair and every one of them refused to service the Costway brand. Never buying costway brand again. Had to toss in the garbage.

never worked from the 1st day. Working now to see if I can get a refund wish me luck
