Buy your own double stick tape!
First off, I was very generous leaving a 5 Star rating as with most automotive items anymore these have an inferior adhesive tape either due to thickness or adhesion ability. I liked the design, and the fitment is excellent, but after reading the reviews of the wind deflector flying off of the hood after a short period of time, I was prepared to look into the issue that others have dealt with and find a way to correct the problem. It appears that the leading outside edge of the deflector has a small, raised border ridge. While it is not raised very high, it is raised higher than what the double stick mounting tape is thick, so in essence the tape does not make a firm contact with the hood of the vehicle. I removed the red protective plastic cover from the tape that is supplied and attached to the deflector then applied a second layer of STRONG double stick tape on top of their tape. With the double thickness of tape, it provides a strong solid connection to the vehicle. Follow the basics of cleaning the surface of your vehicle and then wipe it down with alcohol to remove any wax or other surface impurities. I placed the deflector on the hood of the Bronco and centered it on the hood then marked the center point with a soft lead pencil as a guide for mounting it once the tape is ready to be pulled once in place. Before mounting the deflector to the hood but after the cleaning stage I started the Bronco and allowed it to come up to temperature which also brought up the temperature of the hood surface, as the heat helped to bond the tape to the surface of the hood. I would occasionally later in the day walkout and press down on the edge of the deflector just adding a little additional pressure as the hood cooled and the tape set up solid. The design and fitment are spot on correct. I like the raised portion that runs from side to side adding an extra aerodynamic lift as the air flow is directed above the windshield. Hopefully it will also carry any small rocks, gravel or road trash right along up and over the glass wall that the Bronco calls a windshield.

2022 Bronco hood deflector
If you don’t want stone chips on the leading edge of your hood this is the perfect solution. It’s made of thick black ABS plastic and matches the factory black ABS items (flares, top, mirrors, etc.) perfectly. I used to have a 1967 Bronco and because of the angle of that windshield (the 2022 Bronco’s windshield is a little more sloped) it seemed to be a magnet to stone chips. Back then the deflector was a straight vertical piece that helped save the windshield (and hood edge) from chips. This deflector has a raised portion along its back edge to help protect the windshield. I have my doubts if it will protect the windshield as well as the original style did, time will tell. This deflector is more aerodynamic which will help gas mileage (but no one buys a Bronco for gas mileage). The deflector mounts to the hood with double stick tape (seems every accessory mounts with double stick tape nowadays), it secures so good that after going through a car wash it maintains a reservoir of water until you drive away. The hardest part on installing this is removing the double stick tape backing on some of the small pieces.

Fits 2 Door '23 Bronco Big Bend Editions
I am specifically writing this review to confirm fit for my '23 Big Bend Sasquatch edition 2 Door. The afternoon I received this, it was in the 80's, warm and sunny. I cleaned the area with isopropyl alcohol & then applied the 2 adhesive promoters that comes in the package. Because I have done this a few other times with Jeep Wranglers, I had confidence to install this without any markings with painters tape. My technique is to set it down and get a visual, remove the edge of each piece of tape and put one side down. As I put one side down, I run my finger along the edge of the hood and make sure it is right where it needs to be to reach the other side. Remove the other "side" tapes and then go back and remove both long pieces, applying pressure with a towel along the way. I had 5 plastic clamps that I placed along the edges, 2 of them being on the sides. I had the clamps on for about 3hrs and it was perfect. I recommend doing this on warm sunny days, using clamps & giving it some hours before attempting to drive and put wind on it. Most people fail at this project because they simply aren't patient enough to let it sit and do its thing. Plan it on a day off of work and you will be fine! This hood deflector is solid and can definitely see it lasting the life of my Bronco. Its just as good, if not better than the ones I used on my Wranglers. It will deflect a lot of bugs and rocks...but take the advice I always received.....to not follow so closely to everyone on the highway.... You have a Bronco, not a sportscar!

Isn’t staying on bronco.
Only on the Bronco for 5 days and one side is coming off. I followed the instructions for install to the letter. Now I’m going to have to take it to a body shop to have it removed and maybe reinstalled. This has been quoted at 475 which is way more than I paid for the part. Be nice if they would compensate for this, but I don’t believe that would happen. If you buy this please change out the mounting tape for a better quality product then what is on the part.

Easy to install
I have a 2023 2-door, and this fit perfectly, installed in about five minutes. Looks great, now let’s see if it actually prevents any more cracked windshields. Update March 25-while driving down the highway this flew off my hood. So far I can’t tell if there is any damage from the tape.

Very sturdy and fits perfectly!
After checking reviews I decided on this to deflect the rocks and whatnot away from my windshield. It fits perfectly, looks good and goes on easy. I am very happy with it so far.

design flaw you’ll notice, is…
Finish is patchy, with some parts shinier than others. Can be a challenge to get this lined up exactly right on your own, use someone else otherwise it won’t fit great, see my video. The included adhesive promoters where dried out, so useless. Now, the design flaw you’ll notice, is water will collect under neath and inside it, and when you wash your truck, all the water will collect at the lip. After a week or two, I can’t actually notice any difference bugs and stones still hit the windscreen, the only benefit is protecting the front bonnet from stone chips.

Broke off after 8 months
Bought this in July 2024 and installed it. 8 months on the Bronco and a 10 in section of it snapped off. DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
