Item not as described.
Item portrayed as a "pack", and therefore suitable as a gift; item received was a couple of apparently valid cartridges in an envelope.My initial query was met with a template email about a different manufacturer's cartridges.Request for a refund was responded to with a label but no postage paid - returning the cartridges internationally to a seller with of a third negative ratings would be throwing good money after bad.I suspect this is someone working frenetically out of their spare room, caution recommended.

Canon ink will never be cheap but at least it should keep the printer working reliably
I have never used anything except the manufacturer original ink in my printers (they must love me!). This was as cheap as I could find so for a standard product there isn't much to compare.During lockdown, the work printing has moved to home so a double pack was better value.

At these insane prices I would look into generics.
They are good cartridges hey, nothing to be unhappy here on quality... BUT the price is INSANE, you could buy a new printer with just two replacements of the cartridges.. Just go buy some generic cartridges instead, they have made giant leaps and work just as well. Stinky ink I think is the company we use Toby our generic and it is a fraction of the cost.

I always buy original ink.
I buy original ink because I print out photographs regularly & wish to have the best printout; poor printout is a waste of the time taken in recording the photographs in the first place. Having said that this purchase proved expensive as my printer failed prior to the ink's arrival & I could not purchase a "current" printer using those ink cartridges.However from past experience I have always had good results when using the original ink & can recommend original Canon Inks.

Bought these items as searched in amazon for genuine canon ink and these came up, BEWARE GOOD FAKE PACKAGING- UNUSABLE FAKE CARTRIDGE. Feel deceived, the price is not so low as to alert the buyer and lots of 'suitable for' canon items state just that- you know you're taking a punt. DO NOT BUY THESE Canon PGi-520BK cartridges from this seller- they DO NOT WORK IN MY 1 YEAR OLD CANON MG 5300 AND ARE A WASTE OF MONEY.
