Basically does not work correctly
This unit is almost great. It appears well built and solid with great features. But when you get it you are confronted with the first red flag. The first thing you are instructed to do is swap out the main control box with an identical looking but somehow upgraded version. This involves taking the control box apart and detaching the main control cable which is plugged in with a small multi conductor computer plug. I am used to working with components like this but for the average person with no experience working with these little connectors it may be a challenge. The biggest challenge however is putting it back together and getting the small, formed rubber gasket to seat and seal correctly. This is important as this unit is supposed to be water resistant. Not sure why they would pack the working control box in with the rest of the unit, obviously at the factory but not just install it at the factory? But that is not even the biggest issue. This unit features a safety bar on the bottom of the door that is supposed to detect if an object like your chicken is blocking the entry and about to be crushed by the door. However this safety feature is triggered every time the door reaches the fully closed position and therefore immediately re-opens. It automatically repeats this cycle 5 times. The 6th time the door goes down, it stays down, apparently now ignoring its own safety feature. When I contacted support their answer was to just let it cycle until it stays closed and that the issue was, ready for it, gravity, and I should try mounting the door in the horizontal position instead of the vertical position because there will be less gravity pulling the door down. I guess the engineers designed and tested this on the ISS and failed to account for gravity. Well that is a bunch of nonsense as I tested the door in multiple positions including horizontal and interestingly enough the only position that worked was flat on its back. So I suppose I could use this as a trap door to just drop my chickens out the bottom of the coup every morning. Obviously the pinch sensor switch is either mounted incorrectly, came loose or was just plain designed wrong and needs to be moved up a few millimeters or something. This is hard to investigate as the unit is assembled with pop rivets. It is almost like they designed this on a computer and started manufacturing without bothering to build an actual prototype to verify their design actually works as intended. In the end I took a $50 refund and will have to take this thing apart and try to fix it myself. For now I was forced to purchase a different unit from a different manufacturer.

Was worth it.
We bought this for our 8 chicken when we first got it raising them. Only problem I have is that the wheels are not strong and keep having the screws pulling out of the wood on the bottom. I fixed this with 3” thick 4”x4” on each corner. I Liguria nailed them and then put 4 screws into it. Then re-attached the wheels to the wood pieces. Has been great since. Of course I feel like I should not have had to do this. But I also like on the eastern shore in MD. And I get flooded several times a year. So it probably did not help having the bottom of the house soaking in water when it does flood. Then when I go to move the house and coop into a new spot in the yard. The wheels came off while moving it.

Easy to Assemble
Aivituvin Portable Chicken Coops Poultry Cage with Wheels Was so easy to assemble. My grandson and I had it together in about 30 minutes or so. Now the chickens love the peak of the roof to perch on. There is 6 sections for the chickens and the the little perches inside I think should be a little higher then where they are but still used by my birds. The tray is easy to clean and put back into place. Only thing I did not like about it is that there are 2 ramps one folds out which is great while the other is supposed to be screwed on to the ledge outside. The white this is it hangs up when you try to move the coop. That little latter/ramp should have hinges to fold up as well when moving. I would recommend this product but if you have more than 6 chickens you will need 2 or a bigger coop.

Not a good buy.
The chicken coop is made of very cheap wood or whatever the product is not even sure it is wood. The coop fell apart by the end of the summer and we had to buy another coop. The lift sections where you gather eggs fell apart first and the wood was so cheap you couldn't screw new screws to hold it back in place. Emptying the bottom tray when cleaning is not easy and a bad design. Don't buy this, it is a waste of money.

Nice coop, fits 6 to 10 laying hens.
This is a well designed coop. All of the panels aligned, it was easy to square up. I have 6 laying hens, and I could probably get another 4 to 6 birds in there. The wood is cedar and it's light which keeps shipping costs low. I was a little worried about that bu it's holding up just fine and gives my birds a haven from the wind and weather. I couldn't be happier. I'm so glad I made this purchase.

Trash but it's cheap for a reason.
Very cheap material, very poor build quality, easy assembly but I had to repair/ redo a couple panels before finishing. The casters are a joke with this soft of wood. So I built a raised base to help keep it sturdy. I redid all the screws with wood glue to make sure it doesn't fall apart, and a few of them were rusty already, so those were replaced. My only concern is if it will last more than a year.
