Is this basically just gelatinized cornstarch?

My wife uses it as she has swallowing problems. It's okay when you first mix it, but it does not keep it's consistency and tends to look like water, therefore, cannot be used again - so wasteful.

Can I used this to thicken baby formula?

I’m under a paediatrician for my baby who has reflux. Other thickners did not work and she was prescribed this at 4 months old - works brilliantly.

A life changer

This for me is a life changer . I've struggled to eat foods and drinks with a hiatus hernia I've had for a few months. Adding 2 teaspoons of powder to every 8oz water , I can now drink without any problem without feeling like I'm choking . I will be stocking up on this .
