Excellent product
Unlike the first dome I bought this one has an actual handle to pick it up with, it does a terrific job especially when making a homemade Philadelphia cheese stead although it should be called a Yorkshire cheese steak, by the way they are absolutely delicious and do not take too long to cook . With the use of the dome the cheese melts beautifully. I highly recommend you get one of these domes , you can trust the item will be intact with handle in place. A previous dome I bought is now a bird bath in my garden, when it arrived I pulled it out of the box only to find that the handle was only attached by a single thread which came away completely as soon as touched, I can definitely say the dome I am reviewing is aesthetically pleasing and is fully functional. Do get this dome and not the other. I again highly recommend this item. J

Fantastic for homemade burgers
Fantastic addition for my homemade burgers, traps the steam well to produce a glossy glaze to the bun helping it to soften so that it does not break apart while melting the cheese to a lovely gooey melt

It’s a high rise lid.
Seems well made and I’m sure it will steam burgers and melt cheese and the like real well, however, it’s a bit on the expensive side for a piece of thin stainless steel, well I think it’s stainless steel. Will it do what I need it to do ! Certainly it will. Will I burn my finger and thumb lifting it ! Almost certainly I will. Better handle layout would have been nice but other than that it’s okay.

A home burger must
If you want to up your burger game at home, a steamer is a must. Really light and a good size. Very easy to use and clean. Really good quality. Combine it with the Beefy Boys recipes and you're on to a winner

Simple and effective
Essential for melting cheese on a burger if cooking in a pan etc, very lightweight too but the handle on top feels sturdy, dishwasher safe is a nice touch too

Only One came, not x5
It's good quality, good size (roughly a side plate sized) but despite the product specifications saying there were five, only one came.

Makes such a difference
Easy to use, the handle doesn't get hot in use, and burgers are now covered in beautifully melted cheese and they don't have that dry exterior that can plague uncovered pan fried burgers. Stainless has shown no sign of being challenged by the steam temperatures. Plus it makes a totally beautiful "ding" sound if you hold it in the air and tap it with your knuckle. What more do you want?
