Medal of Honor: Rising Sun (Xbox)

A great game, really enjoyed it plus the multiplayer on split screen is fun and old school although the game does sometimes feel really empty. It is however a challenge and I like that from older games. It works on the Xbox 360 so that is an added bonus! Thank you!

Played this when it was released originally and thought I’d give it another go. I like the immersive gameplay and the suspense and music. A lot to like

fantastic game us soldier fighting the japs in world war 2 shooter great edition to the series cd and box came in great condition and only cost 1p to buy postage was 2 quid but worth it pacage was well packed so happy will maybe buy more in new year

Boy, being a huge fan of the medal of honor series I can't help but being hugely dissapointed. I read that a large chunk of the original team who worked on the series has left EA, and it is clear they where the talented ones in the bunch. There are some lovely touches in this game but the amount of negatives completely outweigh the positives. The game looks awful, looks as if they haven't finished with it yet. Tree's look like cardboard cut outs, the same thing they used in the original game on the psone. The whole game looks rough and unfinished as if it was drawn by a child. The enemy AI hasn't changed a bit in all these years. Shoot someone directly from behind and he just stands there looking around to see where it came fom. Shoot someone in the head 2 or 3 times and he doesn't die ... This game just doesn't look as if they bothered with finishing it and it is a shame, as the medal of honor series have always been right up there with atmospheric music, excellent gamepley and superb set pieces. One final gripe is they have made arenas larger to allow one to explore more, but to be honest you just end up getting lost and spend ages looking for the next enemy to shoot. So in final, all this means I will be renting any of the future games as I feel I was robbed, robbed of a fantastic series that looks like it is going sour, and robbed because I saved up for this game. At least I can sell it as it is the first thing I will do to rid myself of this pile of junk.
