This is a two-pack video game, and includes both "Batman: Arkham Asylum" (from 2009) and "Batman: Arkham City" (from 2011). Each of these original games has been tweaked, to offer superior HD graphics. As such, you get the up-graded version. Each game is on a separate disc. All the downloadable content (and there's a lot of it) for both games is included.You play as Batman. These are third-person action-adventure superhero games, where you "see" what goes on from over-the-shoulder of Batman. The playability is superb, and you literally experience what it's like to be the Dark Knight. There's loads of hand-to-hand fighting, as well as plenty of detective-style action. The first game offers a story that centres on Arkham Asylum (where the Joker's running wild). The second game presents a far wider environment, across part of Gotham (which has been transformed into a gigantic prison).All the major, and most of the minor, Batman villains are to be found in these games. And as you progress through each game, the challenges presented by these super-villains get increasingly difficult. You'll engage with such characters as Two-Face, Harley Quinn, the Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Bane, and so many others.If you're a fan of Batman, and you enjoy third-person gaming, then you'll likely enjoy this. I highly recommend it.

For years I had been hoping for a superhero game like no other and then Arkham Asylum came along and I was blown away by the dark gritty story and feel that I was in a Batman game that was truly immersive, the action was incredible and I didn't think it could be topped until Arkham City that just took the game to the next level I mean this is what we expect of a superhero game now, Rocksteady set the standard for all superhero gamesReturn To Arkham does what it says on the box it takes you back to those games we fell in love with and let's you slip right back into the story. If you are new to these games you are in for a treat, they are just spell binding and there's so much to immerse you in. The Arkham series is one of a kind, buy a copy it's worth it because these games are the type you would want to play again and again

If you've played the Arkham games on the older consoles, this is both Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and all DLC for both, wrapped up in a lower price bundle, which means you're getting 2 games, lots of DLC and all for a great price!For those who haven't played these games, you're in for a real treat - the best Superhero based game, the best voice acting, a fantastic few stories and some of the best gameplay you'll find in a combat system that is smooth as silk, great stealth, puzzles that cover both physical and mental problems, these are games that will keep you occupied for many hours.As long as you own an Xbox One, you MUST own this, it's worth the money and then some, definitely worth it, even if you've played them before!!!

The Arkham series is evidence some superheroes can be turned into great video game protagonists while also creating a formula that many video games have evolved and changed (Shadow of Mordor). It's a stepping stone of great media.If you're a batman fan who hasn't played these games and own a Xbox One or PS4, I highly suggest you buy this. However I'd be wary if you're an avid fan of the Arkham series as you can see how the combat system has advanced and playing previous installments from Arkham orgins or knight really show the improvements, while making a playthrough of Aslyum being lackluster after playing the lastest ones.

There is a difference with these remastered versions of the games but not really a big difference. Doesn't matter anyway, the graphics are great and didn't need much work. The thing is, I'm just happy to be playing these games again for the new console because they're still some of the best games I've ever played. Still prefer playing them over Arkham Knight only because the stories are that bit better, but obviously the gameplay for Arkham Knight is a lot better and smoother.If you've never played them I highly recommend you buy them.

Both these games are big visual upgrades over the originals released in 2009 & 2011. Textures are sharper & more detailed. Shader FX are also better as it uses Unreal Engine 4. Today they also got patches to make them enhanced for Xbox 1X but no info has been released on the upgrades yet. The games look different visually but are also without a doubt better than even the PC @ 4K right now due to PC being the older releases.

Bought this in the black friday sale and its been amazing ever since i have got 100% achievements on both games. Sometimes there's frame rate drop since its not locked in but its hardly anything. But 2 amazing batman games combined in 1 package with all the DLC included this is a must buy for dc fans stealth game fans and much more. This is a game that you all should love!
