I have used these on our windows, to stop our cats from getting out of the windows. My husband fitted them and said they were reasonably easy to fit. They don't get in the way of the window closing, don't change the look of the window, but do the job they are there for, restrict the opening of the window, but you can still open it the full capacity by just unclipping the restrictor from the pin. This is absolutely perfect for an effective, easy to install, hidden window lock, however, you're going to need a ladder if you're not on the ground floor! Attach the 't-arm with the hook' to the bottom of the window/the bottom rail of the casement first (using a ladder!), then attach the 'stub' to the window casement/the bottom mullion. The lock works smoothly as you open and close the window, it's also easy to unhook if you don't want the window on the latch.Product was purchased to keep neurodiverse 4 year old with DLD/ASD traits safe.

Make sure you check whether it’s a left or right opening & suggest get a prof to get as I couldn’t fit it despite this looking identical to the one I took off. Ended up buying a self adhesive fixing to the front of the window.

These have been a life-saver for our home, we have a house-cat who would be out of an open window in an instant so it gives us peace of mind knowing we can have the main windows open without fear of him disappearing and making friends with the neighbours (why are cats such users?).It did take a few takes of fitting it. I'd recommend using duct tape to hold it in place and check it clicks and closes with the window before drilling any holes, we made that mistake on the first window, thankfully we could correct it as the hole wasn't too big. Definitely recommend.
