A sip of Spain in a blue bottle
I usually only drink Solán de Cabras when I’m at our holiday home in Spain, lounging in the sun and pretending I’m far more sophisticated than I actually am. You know the drill: sandals on, siesta pending, water so fancy it comes in a blue bottle instead of the usual transparent peasant plastic. So imagine my surprise when I found it here in the UK. Suddenly, instead of sipping it by the pool with tapas, I’m drinking it in the drizzle, staring out at the neighbour’s shed. And yet—it still manages to taste like Spain. Not quite “Ibiza beach club,” more like “Costa del Sol supermarket car park,” but I’ll take what I can get.The water itself? Crisp, clean, and so pure it makes tap water feel like it’s been through a swamp. Honestly, I don’t know if it’s the minerals or the marketing, but somehow it tastes fancier than regular H₂O. My partner insists “water is just water,” yet here I am feeling like I should pair it with Manchego and jamón just to do it justice.Expensive for bottled water? Absolutely. But it’s cheaper than a flight to Málaga, and no one gives you funny looks when you’re carrying this bottle around Tesco. Worth it for the smug factor alone.Would recommend—especially if you want to feel like you’re on holiday while standing in a rainy car park in Croydon.

Not as good as the Peckham spring but very close
Definitely water, only water what’s better that I’ve tasted is from the Peckham spring

Plastic not glass bottles
It's in plastic bottles rather than the famous blue glass bottles

Best water in the world
I drink this water by the gallon when in Spain, however due to lockdown 2.0 travel was cancelled. Was thrilled to be able to order from amazon! Thank you x

Best tasting water you can buy
As always delivered promptly. Cleanest tasting water you can buy, in my opinion, no mineral taste.

Average taste massively expensive
I liked this cold but my husband said it tasted like expensive tap water (not that tap water isn't expensive these days and if you live where we live it possibly contains parasites). Anyway unless this stuff is in the glass bottles like in Spanish hotels... forget it
