(tm) MADISON ELECTRIC BONDED LEATHER AUTOMATIC RECLINER ARMCHAIR SOFA HOME LOUNGE CHAIR (Brown)

So, I've had this a month or so now so thought it was time to review it. Firstly, I ordered this after reading another Amazon user review. That review said it came in 4 parts - that's true but note - the back slots in then there are two 'wings' which slot in at the base of the back on each side. Then the 4th part is the seat itself with the arms attached and that's the bulky part. Secondly -the seller contracts out to a delivery company & despite saying the delvery company would be in touch to discuss delivery, the reality is you get a text telling you the delivery date. I had to call them to rearrange mine. Also - they won't deliver to higher than the 1st floor wbhich was an issue for me because I live on the 4th with no lift. Having said all that - the chair is so easy to put together, literally only a minute from assembly to plug in and use. I find it very comfortable & you don't have to fully recline, I tend to just raise my feet to get comfortable but for the couch potatoes amongst you - you can recline almost hotzontal. Overall for the price, I'm very happy with my purchase & would recommend. PS Clearly at this cost, it's not real leather but it still looks good!

I’ve had this chair for about a year now and for the price, it’s great. I searched all the sofa stores in my area and nothing was in this price range. I had a few things that I wanted from this chair and it does them all. 1) Be fully electric. It is. 2) ability to raise the leg rest only - it does. The leg rest raises before the back support starts to recline so just let go of the button before it does. 3) Be light enough to move it around. I have this in my work studio and need to be able to free up space. I added felted coasters to the feet and it slides around easy. The plug cable is long enough to do so. Pretty easy to install with it arriving in two parts. Slot the top part in and off you go. I should also note that the design is slightly different from the pictures at the time of buying. They’ve moved the buttons to more of a central location so it’s actually a plus as I think it would have been a stretch in the original location. I should also note that i’m Not the tallest person at 5ft 6inch. I think tall people would think it’s a bit small but for me it’s perfect. Comfort wise it’s ok. The seat itself is firm but springy. The arms are more like big puffed, pillows. Same with head rest but a bit firmer version. Not sure if it’s genuine leather but not fussed about that. When i’m In recline mode and do have a few extra pillows to support my lower back. Plus there is a gap between the arms when it is reckoned. But for the money I paid i’m Extremely happy with this chair. A year in and the motor seems to be running smoothly still and there haven’t been any deformities develop in the rest. Very happy.

Great chair, look much better than I expected for the price, easy to put together and mega fast delivery. Am ordering another as hubby wants one too. Really comfortable and no ore achy back through poor posture. Been debating getting one for ages but delayed as I wasn't giving in to growing older. Now I can sleep at night because I am sitting not slouching during the evening so good chair and good mattress and I now feel ten years younger. Great buy!

I bought 2 of these chairs back in 2018. They are used everyday in my conservatory. They have been absolutely amazing and are only just starting to show signs of wear so I’m looking to replace them. Probably for the exact same chairs! Brilliant value for money, extremely comfortable.

Bought two - lovely comfortable chairs - but too low - clever husband made a wooden frame to raise them by 4 inches - problem solved

A great chair! Delivered prompty in a very large cardboard box. It is simplicity itself to assemble, all you do is slot in the arms and back! Oddly though, the instructions were tucked into the base of the chair with the arms and so, until I found the instructions, it actually looked awfully complicated! The chair itself is comfortable although, in a perfect world, there would be a little less padding in the small of my back because this extra padding pushing my lower back forward makes me feel a bit like I sm sitting on, rather than sinking into, the chair. I hope that as my butt-print forms this will gradually relax to my form :-). Operation of the chair is almost silent, and the motion is smooth. Just one thing to note if you are tall, I am about 5'11" and when reclined my feet hang over the footrest so my legs rest on my calves. This is absolutely perfect for me since one of the reasons for me buying this recliner is to raise my feet to reduce swollen ankles and pressure sensitive pain in my feet so not resting my feet on my heels is a bonus. I am right on the recommended max weight for the chair and feel it is wide enough for me, and fo not feel the chair "struggles" with my weight at all. OK this is no laz-ee-boy but at around a quarter of the price of a laz-ee-boy, I feel it to be far more than just a quarter of the quality!If you wanted a sofa to match, try the Rochdale model range from furniturechoices.com, I bought a 2 seater Rochdale sofa from them and it is a great match!

Disappointed. Had a very similar recliner (I thought) for a few years, until granchildren jumped on it while extended and broke mechanism. It had been incredibly comfortable. The replacement has far less height - back rest only reaches shoulders rather than head as previous one and laying back gives neck ache! This replacement is higher off the ground, the seat is shorter and it's firmer, but not in a good way. Think very carefully if you're over 5ft 6!! This model (unlike previous) does not have side pockets. That said motor/mechanism was good.

First chair they supplied had a faulty motor but a quick email and it was replaced with no fuss and at my convenience, the company's customer service was excellent really 5star. As for the chair, bought it or my very frail 86 year old Mum, she loves it and finds it just so so comfy. It is BONDED leather (leather bonded to a backing material) and so really warm and soft to touch, we put it together in about five minutes , with no problems at all. Its a good buy and would recommend to anyone, on the down side - the lift/recline buttons on the side are a little far forward but Mum manages ok so not a big problem. Similar chairs on the high St. cost a lot more than this one. Really pleased with it, want one for me now!.
