This replacement key works great!!

I misplaced the key to remove my doorbell but this is the right substitute and I now have several to keep me up and running. The keyring is a bonus too so I am sure to have a secure grip.

In an effort to make the Nest doorbell difficult to steal, Nest has also made their doorbell impossible to reset even if you do manage to find the key your Nest doorbell came with. I did not. Because the Nest doorbell has such a poorly conceived mechanicals, ie, the key that releases the doorbell from its wall mount is different depending on the generation you have, and you are never sure which generation you have because it isn't marked on the packaging, you have to resort to ordering all kinds of realpcement keys, none of which actually work. I am tearing off my Nest doorbell and moving on to another brand.
