Moterm Leather Zippered Pen Pouch - Fountain Pen Case with 6 Pen Loops and a Snap Pocket (Pebbled-Chocolate)

This is my first Moterm piece and it isn't going to be my last. This pen case was exactly what I was looking for and the price was right for my budget. The color choice is quite nice. My green option is exactly what I was hoping for.I believe my case is the new model. Apparently this didn't fit larger pens without a struggle. I can't speak to that as most of my pens are smaller models and vintage pens that tend to be small by nature. My largest pen is my Esterbrook Estie, seen here in my photos, and that was a tad tight but it fit fine. If you use pens of a larger diameter than that, this pencase might be a struggle for you.I don't use field notebooks, but I regularly keep a smaller notebook in with my pens to keep a record of what pens have what inks in them that are in use. I change my inks so frequently that it's hard to keep up sometimes so this keeps me straight. I also keep some brass sheets for clearing my nibs of paper pulp and a glove for writing to keep my paper free of oils when I write. All of that fits perfectly in the snap pocket and the case closes with ease.This case is stunning and it feels great to the touch. It's elegant without being "too much." If you know someone that uses smaller pens or vintage pens, this would make a beautiful, thoughtful gift. It comes beautifully packaged and it even comes with a drawstring dust bag for protection when not in use. Moterm products are keepers. This, as all Moterm products tend to be, is made very well. The stitching is very well done and it doesn't at all stress the stitching when zipped up at capacity. This being leather, I feel confident in saying that a bit of stress shouldn't matter and would only help the usability in the coming years.If you're looking for a good intro product for Moterm products, this is it. The price is great and it's ideal for writers on the go.

Very nice zipper case for fountain pens but could be used for other things similar to the size of a pen. Small enough to put in a purse or briefcase.

Perfect! High quality case! Not for fat pens. These Bastion pens. They're a bit bigger than normal, but not large or thin.

I have the old and new models of this case. The old is nigh unusable because of the stiff elastic -- it barely allows a Sarasa Clip, and it's a struggle.However, the new model has resolved this issue, and the case is nice!If you read the description carefully, the new model mentions the elastic has been updated, as of late April 2023.(FYI, I can put in six pens, an A6 hobonichi in a Midori goat cover, and zip without stressing the zipper or product.)

I almost didn't buy this because I use fountain pens and wasn't sure what would fit. In the attached image are Kaweco Student's and a Sailor Pro Gear Slim. A Pilot full size Vanishing Point will fit, but a Sailor Pro Gear will not (due to the cap banding). The elastic is snug, but, it can be stretched. I could probably make the larger pens fit, but there wouldn't be room for 6 of them (girth issues). This pen holder is very well made and I could see myself buying duplicates if I fancied a few other colors. I keep a small (A6) size field notes booklet in the snap pocket. It seems passport size.

My fountain pens (Lamy Safari's or Al-Star's) do NOT fit. The elastic is stiff and has very little give. I can only fit a basic Bic-type ballpoint pen in the loops. It's a gorgeous case, but it needs bigger loops and/or stretchier elastic. Perhaps the one I received was made improperly. 😕

As usual moterm does not disappoint ! This is very functional and a cute way to carry your pens. It looks cute with the planner cover I bought from moterm in the same color !

Case seems nice and sturdy, especially for the price. Was happy to find out that it fit my Twsbi fountain pens and my pilot prera. The elastic is definitely tight that holds the pens, maybe too tight but that also might be the pen. Not a complaint just an observation. I like the pocket on the interior left side of the case. I haven’t figured out any use for it but, it looks like an A6 notebook would fit into and (and smaller of course)
