I use my laptop a lot…so much so, that I finally managed to use mine right to near death. No longer optional to replace, having a super rate streak of good fortune, I got a (refurbished) MacBook Air 2022. I can’t say enough good things about it, but…Despite lurking this specific laptop since it came out, I was still unprepared for some things about it vs my old MacBook Pro (2014). Chiefly, the two usb-c ports. Love that in theory, but nothing other than my iPhone charging cord is usb-c. External drives, flash drives, my vape, certainly not the usb hub for the billion things that end up plugged into my laptops.I knew it’d be a pain, a thing I’d have to fix asap, but I didn’t know how soon that’d actually be! One unexpected death in the family and me being volunteered to make a video for the service later, annnd a location for that service being of the…um, politely? Exceedingly, frighteningly, frustratingly out of date. As in, everything HAD to be wired to worked.Living in a rural area hits peak levels of lake when you need emergency anything, perhaps especially if it’s got something to do with electronics. Under two days to get an adapter, nowhere within an hour of me had it in stock or could get it to the store or me in that timeframe, and outrageously expensive for all that. Enter Amazon, savior of folks who need things very fast and can’t pay rural area price gouging.Got such a great price, I honestly was prepared for it to be junk. Nope! I got two adapters for under the price of one in person, got them in a color that matches my laptop (maybe this is dumb, but I was pleased), they arrived on time, AND WORKED!Not that I’m advising it, but they’ve subsequently been tossed into purses, jacket pockets, travel bags, and numerous places the cats threw them. Grooming in my home and having three dogs and five cats, I have a lot of fur hiding around to foul such unprotected things. But, here we are, they’re still going perfectly!That’s not all, either. There wasn’t any noticeable impact on my ability to charge devices-quickly and well.Totally recommend! Get yourself some, match your laptop, enjoy!PS: it does y have some of the features listed in this review page, if it’s got 1 star on any of these, that’s why.

I had bought these so that I would be able to plug in a mouse that’s a regular USB and an external drive that’s a regular USB but unfortunately there isn’t enough room between the 2 cUSB ports to fit both of them at the same time. So I don’t really know how I’m going to be able to accomplish what I need to accomplish. They function fine, I just can’t use them both at once so I’m not sure why they sold them in a two pack. I may have to look for something that might have two outlets with one plug-in or maybe something that is made to plug into both of the c USB outputs at once with two regular USB ports available. I don’t even know if they make that. But for the price, I’m glad I bought it because I can switch out if I have to but it’s not ideal.NOTE: I didn’t use it to charge anything so I can’t rate that and I didn’t use it for a camera, so I can’t rate that.

I do not know why it says camera quality and charging power in the rate features but this device does its job and is really good, helped me connect my mouse that has usb to my macbook which had usbc. it is just a good converter and works really well, we ordered it twice and it has worked great both times. really recommend it for a mouse for your macbook cause it makes using the mac book soo much better.

So happy that people are making adapters that are not dongles. These work great, are very unobtrusive, and are easy to plug/unplug. I use it to attach various USB accessories to my Macbook Air. The only downside is that it is through this product name that I learned about the usage of male/female as terms to describe connectors, which is not knowledge I'm necessarily happy to have.

CORRECTION 11 July 2023: In my original review, I stated that the adapter did not fit into my iPad mini port. I received a message from the manufacturer which assured that if I pushed a little harder it would connect.I carefully worked it in IT WENT IN FINE.Generally, I travel abroad with my 12" iPad and purchased the adapter so I can bring my external device with work files and location photos. The adapter opens up fine to all my files except for a set of language Podcasts (which is OK as I've become proficient). I take the mini on overnights locally only, so I wouldn't need the adapter. But it's nice to know it works in case I might need to connect to an exterior storage unit.Nice to get 2 adapters in one order.

I have a 16" 2019 MacBook Pro and I need these adapters to use my USB cable items. The color is perfect and blends with the Space Grey of my MacBook Pro, plus they are sleek and slender. I have bought about 4 packs of these adapters so that I have one on each of my cables.

I can't imagine why I would every pay anything more for a different version of this device. It works perfect right away. If you want a cable to add length to your connection, then this is not for you. I use a MacBook Air, and the USB-C connections are right next to each other so I can understand that. Other than that, it's perfect.

I bought these to take advantage of the absolutely useless USB c port on my laptop. Now, my mouse no longer takes up one of the 3 super valuable USB ports on my laptop.

Los llevo usando alrededor de tres meses y por ahora ningún problema. El material parece resistente y vienen tres, lo cual es cómodo para tenerlos repartidos para cualquier situación. Tengo uno en el estuche con otros bolígrafos y demás y no se ha rallado de ninguna manera, encajan perfectamente en los puertos tipo C del mac (lo cual me daba cierto miedo antes de comprar porque había visto otros comentarios que decían que había que forzarlos para que entraran y algunos puertos se habían roto así, pero yo no he tenido ese problema). En cuanto a la longevidad, no se cuánto durarán pero por ahora estos 3 meses me han aguantado bastante bien.
