Insects (Collins Gem)

Another Gem Guide I purchased recently, I'm very pleased with it and the purchase in general, speedy delivery, well packed, I'm very happy - it has just the information I needed, given in simple terms.

I bought this great little book for 2 little boys who had to isolate when they had covid 19. I have a copy myself that i have had for years but I didn't want to lend it as I refer to it frequently. The boys have had hours of fun identifying the insects in their garden, then with their freedom they have drawn the other children in the street into an interest in wildlife and conservation. I believe every child should have a copy of this book. The illustrations and descriptions are excellent and can help towards a lifetime of fascination in our wonderful variety of insect life.

I have noticed bugs in my garden over the past year or two that I have never seen before. I thought it would be good to get more informed and bought this little Gem book. It is a lovely little book, but it is tiny, just 8cm by 11cm. It’s handy to carry in your pocket but you will definitely need 20:20 vision in 2020 if you want to use this book. I think I will have to invest in a larger book in due course, but one as well illustrated as this.

Sweet little books, pocket size so very handy for out and about identifying. Beautifully illustrated with lots of pictures of little insects. My daughter loves collecting these

Another perfect little Gem book, full of interesting facts, easy to read and understand.

The title says all you need to know, get one and read it if you are interested in insects.
