After about 6 months of use
The Logitech G502X lightspeed is a fairly heavy mouse, and while it’s not ideal for highly competitive shooters, I personally find it very comfortable and enjoy using it for almost everything except CS2. With the stock skates, the mouse felt rough, sluggish, and not very maneuverable, especially considering its weight. Installing these glass skates with a glossy finish completely changed the experience. The glide is significantly smoother than I expected. On cloth mousepads, the mouse moves effortlessly, requiring very little force to start or maintain movement. The difference is immediately noticeable, and the mouse feels far more fluid and responsive despite its weight. On wooden surfaces, however, the skates are almost too slippery. The glide becomes extremely fast, to the point where control can be difficult. While this isn’t necessarily a flaw, it’s something to be aware of depending on your desk or pad setup. Overall, I have no complaints. These glass skates dramatically improve the feel of the G502 X, making it feel much smoother and easier to move. If you like the shape and comfort of the G502 X but dislike how heavy or rough it feels with stock skates, this upgrade makes a huge difference.

Do yourself a favor, spend the few extra $$
Woth the couple extra bucks, ive used the cheaper ones and these are definitely noticeable better right off the bat! Perfect fit, super durable, nice glide, great value.

My new favorite mouse accessory
Love these skates. So so so smooth. I got a 502 to replace my finalmouse that the left click was starting to go out on and with these skates my 502 now feels lighter than my finalmouse did. These take some getting use to it's a strange feeling a first to have basically no friction to your louse at all. I use these on my 502 with a carpio 2.0 wrist rest and it is my new gaming setup. I really wish this company would make glass skates for the carpio cause I'd 100% buy them toatch my mouse. If you are a fan of light mice these will make your mouse feel that way. I can now makeicro adjustments very easily. I will probably never go back to normal skates again.

Almost too good
I kid you not my mouse has literally started sliding down the desk on its own ever since I put these on. My desk is level enough to the point where I can’t even tell it’s at an angle, but my mouse just slides down like a slope if I’m not holding it still. These things are ridiculous

Great quality for the price and works very well
Really like that this is easy to use grip wise, super comfortable on the wrist, great quality for the price! Helps with control speed and the functionality of the mouse. Highly recommend just make sure to get the correct hands, you can choose between left or right!

As fast as it gets, but that might be a double edged sword
Here's few things to know before buying these... this info is in reference to the "Type S" skates (on a Logitech G502X mouse): - Initially they're EXTREMELY fast and smooth, bordering on unusable for some people. They're so fast that it can be difficult to double-click on things, because the mouse is registering movement mid-click. It only took me a few days to adjust to be able to consistently double-click again. - Glass skates should NEVER be used on a glass mouse pad. Glass skates go on soft pads (the fabric ones) or on hard pads made of plastic. If you use glass skates on glass pads, you will ruin both the skates AND the pad nearly instantly. DON'T DO IT! Using glass skates will likely wear out your soft/hard pads quicker than PTFE skates would. - The Type S skates appear to have some sort of coating on the surface of the skate that makes them significantly faster. This coating will wear off over time and there's not a lot that you can do to prevent this. I noticed feeling the difference after about 3 months of moderate use on a soft fabric mouse pad. Once the coating is gone, the skates will be moderately slower and more controllable. The static friction (the force that it takes to move your mouse from a dead-stop) is SUPER low initially and remains very low after the coating wears off of the skates. - If you want to use glass skates (of any kind) you need to keep your skates and mouse surface/pad extremely clean. If you're on a soft pad, you need to brush off any dust or grit on the pad before EVERY use and if the pad gets too much sweat/hand oils, you'll need to wash it or the skates will drag on the dirty spots of the pad. If you're on a hard pad, you need to wipe down the pad (ideally with a damp towel) before EVERY use and let it dry before you put the mouse back on it. If you don't do this, there's a decent chance you'll put a scratch on the glass that you'll feel every time afterwards and a decent chance of scratching up your mouse pad, too. - I found that it worked best if I wiped off the skates with a dry cloth before every use. I tried not to use liquids to clean the skates because I don't know if the coating is water (or alcohol or soap) soluble and I didn't want to strip the coating off if I could avoid it. - If your setup has your desk surface at an angle (even a very small angle), you'll probably want to skip these. Even after the coating has worn off, my mouse would slide right off my desk if I propped up my pad at even a shallow angle. - When you're removing your stock skates to put these on, it's important that you remove ALL of the old skates gunk AND the double sided tape that held them on. If the tape doesn't come off with your old skates, take some rubbing alcohol with a q-tip and pick the tape gunk off with a toothpick. This is important to make sure the new skates are the correct height so that your mouse sensor works correctly and so the skates wear evenly. As long as you're OK with the "quirks" of glass skates, you'll find that these are some of the fastest, smoothest skates you'll ever feel. It was an interesting option to try, but I don't know that it's good enough to make it worth dealing with the quirks. I'll probably stick with good ole' PTFE going forward. Happy gaming! Hope some of this info helps!

Two Pairs In
I bought a pair a year ago and just bought another. These have been easy to install, it glides as you'd imagine, and I hope to support this product in the future.

these work too well, would not recommend
These work too well and are too slick. Every time I try to click on something it slides the mouse due to my finger hitting the mouse button and moves the cursor and either drags whatever im clicking on or doesnt register the click due to movement. Trying to do fine clicks or open documents becomes a nightmare where I have to stabalize my hand on the mouse pad first to make sure my mouse isnt moving before I click on something. Its ridiculous. I had to adjust the level on my desk because it being around a 1/16th of an inch off level was causing my mouse to literally slide off my mouse pad because there is so little friction from these feet. Even turning down my dpi didnt help because these things just constantly slide like crazy. I love the idea of these being glass and offering a smoother feel, but in practice, it works too well and creates problems with just general desktop use or in gaming. I cannot recommend these.

Supeeeer fast
The 3rd one I've owned now for different sizes and it's first on the list to buy each time. Add a good mouse mat and you're laughing.
