Best design I ever used but!
It's really the best design I have ever used, but using it in a Pro Blade Station, it gets super hot to a point you cannot touch it, and the station disconnects by itself on heavy writing ( over 100GB ) due to overheating. Ventilation is not designed well in the station. If you are using it to run projects ( editing etc ) it's perfect, if you are planning to use it for copying more than 100GB continuously ( on set for example ) stay away, station will keep disconnecting, unless they upgrade the station.

Exceptional speed in a rugged portable format.
The small form factor is very handy such that the SSD can be used with the portable USB-C carrier to direct connect to my Camera or Laptop. As the SSD is also super rugged, you don't have to worry that it will be easily damaged in the field. I use the SSD both in the portable USB-C carrier and the 4 port thunderbolt base station. They run exceptionally fast data transfers. My only concern is under medium use, the SSD's get very hot which may reduce the MTBF of the device, so best to always keep backups. For its stated use case, its an excellent ecosystem of carriers and SSD's
