There are clearly two different designs for the Maxel CD's. The "Clear" ones, (pictured left), and the "Chrome" ones, (pictures right).The "Chromed" ones are clearly defective, as when used to burn and to put music onto them, they skip, jump, and sometimes the CD player won't read the CD at all.The "Clear" ones on the other hand are absolutely fine. No issues with it reading on the CD player, no skipping and no jumping. Maxel might need to take a look into this.Please ensure that the "Clear" CD's are the ones being sold as there seem to be now problems with them.5 stars for the "Clear" CD's.0 stars for the "Chromed" CD's

this pack of 100 cdrs from maxell is excellent value.i have used this brand for many years and they are very reliable.my only disappointment was the way they were packed for posting.they were in a box twice the width of the cdrs with just a bit of brown paper for packing.when i received them each end of the plastic wrapping had split open and discs were all over the box inside.sellers should remember if they don't write fragile on the packaging, van drivers will just throw them about without a care.
