This stuff is GREAT for spraying the yard, the shrubs, and the trees to repel mosquitoes and ticks!
This stuff is GREAT for spraying the yard, the shrubs, and the trees to repel mosquitoes and ticks!I use the Mosquito Sniper System attached to my leaf blower to perform the spraying (combined with other chemicals) and I get great results!Apparently mosquitoes can't stand the smell of garlic and I have heard that ticks don't like it either.Even though you can't smell the garlic after a few days, the mosquitoes are VERY sensitive to even the residual garlic application.Remember to spray into the shrubbery where the mosquitoes like to hide. Also, spray at dawn or at dusk for best results! The Mosquito Sniper System is available here on Amazon and it works GREAT.

Excellent Product
I sprayed this product around in my yard and it certainly does help to keep the bugs away from the area I sprayed. It's pet friendly and easy to apply. It's very effective in keeping the bugs away from my landscaped area that I'm always working in. It's a great value for the money.

Garlic an Capscasin smell that mammals and insects loathe
I read an article on Disney World and how they rid their park of mosquitos. Upon learning that they utilized a garlic spray, I immediately went into research mode. I found this formula and have been purchasing it ever since. I have found that it works great and even burns if it gets on you due to the capscasin (derived from the seeds of hot peppers).I have also discovered that it not only keeps mosquitos away, but also mammals. Anything that has taste buds (so no birds) will avoid the area of this spray. If they do bite into it, they quickly go into a tongue flapping routine to spit it out and then associate the smell as NOPE, forever.I spray it on any vegetation that my wife wishes to protect from deer, rabbits, squirrels, and any other creature that enjoys munching on her plants and garden. As for myself, I've used it to protect my fruit trees/bushes every year (the only thing I wish is that I knew about this product a year prior). No mosquitos or other leafy consuming insects; No plant and garden destroyers. No fuss and long lasting.Cons:Having said the above, it is best to spray this when you know it wont be raining for a stretch of time or else you'll be reapplying it after each rain to keep up with it's effectiveness. If you let this stuff sit on your skin, you'll become sensitive in that area until you wash it off.

Appears to be working after a few weeks of a trial.
After a couple of weeks using this in our back yard it shows as an effective deterrent for mosquitoes. We reapply after significant rainfall. The garlic odor goes away after a day or so but honestly it's not much of an annoyance.

Garlic barrier for mosquitos
It works but once it rains the mosquitoes will come back so i think its pretty pricy for what it is, you got to spray after every rain
