A few weeks before the MoT I found that there was fluid coming out of one of the gaiters, the quantity of fluid was not enough to drip on the ground so I decided to try some LIQUI MOLY Power Steering Oil Leak Stop. After 300 miles the leak seems to have stopped and a new MoT.

This is ideal if the power steering fluid leak you have is very small and does do the job of stopping it as since adding this, I've not seen a drop of power steering fluid leak out and has helped to keep the fluid where it needs to be for the car not the road. Good solution until you take it to a garage for it to be looked at as this saved me a lot of money topping up my fluid all the time.

I bought a 2008 ML320 with 200,000 miles and its been a nightmare. In addition to engine oil leaks, I discovered the steering gear was leaking from the pinion seal. It would leak, collect in a brace, then drop a large pool of fluid all at once. Dropping the front differential and buying a new rack was the last thing I wanted to do. After doing some research on what actually has a track record of working, I bought the Liqui Moly. It's been several weeks now and I have yet to see PS fluid on my drive.

Ho deciso di provare questo prodotto della Liqui Moly perché avevo notato delle piccole tracce d'olio sotto l'auto e il servosterzo stava diventando leggermente rumoroso in manovra. Devo dire che i risultati sono stati superiori alle aspettative. Perché lo consiglio vivamente: Efficacia immediata: Dopo aver aggiunto l'additivo nel serbatoio dell'olio del servosterzo e aver percorso pochi chilometri, il rumore (il classico "muggito" durante le sterzate) è sparito completamente. Stop alle perdite: Il prodotto agisce rigenerando le guarnizioni in gomma e plastica indurite dal tempo. Nel mio caso, ha sigillato perfettamente le piccole trasudazioni, evitandomi una costosa riparazione dal meccanico. Facilità d'uso: Il tubetto ha un beccuccio molto pratico che permette di versare il contenuto con precisione senza sprecare una goccia. Basta aggiungerlo al liquido già presente (rispettando i livelli massimi). Qualità Made in Germany: Liqui Moly è una garanzia assoluta nel settore degli additivi. Si sente che è un prodotto professionale che protegge l'impianto e prolunga la vita della pompa del servosterzo. Risparmio garantito: Con una spesa minima ho risolto un problema che avrebbe potuto aggravarsi, proteggendo l'intero sistema da usura precoce. In sintesi: Un prodotto miracoloso per chi ha auto con qualche anno sulle spalle. Me ha sorprendido tenía una fuga en la caja de dirección y debería de ser grande porque ya me lo tiraba todo de golpe el litro completo lo compré sin ninguna esperanza si no sé prueba no sé sabe y todavía no me lo creó después de Casi 3 meses no pierdo más que 2 gotas de vez en cuando

Semble avoir bel et bien fonctionné ! Attention, il m'a fallu plusieurs mois avant que la fuite ne disparaisse complètement. Ca faisait plus d'un an qu'elle était dans cet état
