This brush is a miracle worker. I have a very Persian cat with extremely thick and long fur and was told that just a stainless steel comb would be good enough. She started accumulating knots and matting which felt like lumps whenever I stroked her. I put off getting the brush as it looked quite intimidating online and was worried it was going to rip all her fur out or hurt her. I couldn’t have been more wrong!! I got to work with it straight away and honestly I was so shocked once I’d finished, I had a mountain of fur next to me. Anyone would’ve thought she’d been shaved bare if they’d seen. There were still a couple of hard matts that I had to cut out but once they were out, she looked as though she’d been to the groomers. Her coat was left fluffy and shiny and just generally healthy looking. The stainless steel comb obviously hadn’t been getting to her old undercoat properly. The way this brush handles knots and tangles is just amazing. And it doesn’t cause her any pain whatsoever. In fact, I think she likes being brushed with this brush more than the comb. It’s also comfortable for me to hold and use as it’s a good grip and lightweight. It definitely looks nice and sturdy and like it will last a while. If anything could be improved about it I would probably say the metal head could perhaps be a little wider just to cover more ground and make the brushing a bit quicker. But that’s a very minor detail. Overall, I’m very happy with it and extremely pleased that I no longer have a matted cat. And she must be happier to have got rid of her heavy old undercoat. It’s definitely worth the money and I’d recommend trying this before you resort to a tiger cut or the vet. I’m very pleased 😊

I have a German Shepherd & this de-shedding tool is brilliant for grooming her. GSD's shed constantly & this takes so much hair out, it makes such a difference. I would highly recommend

Very good, only trouble I found was still pulls the hair out as blades are not sharp enough. But does what it says.

I have a shepherd cross lab and she heavy sheds twice a year I was getting fed up with so much hair in my house all over the furniture I had to buy a brush that would get her undercoat out and all the dead hair so I looked on here and bought this brush, I have to say it is amazing. It is better than any terminator brush I bought it D shed the old hair and has stopped the spread of hair all over the house as much as you can see by the photo. This is from just one Brush in 10 minutes all that dead undercover hair coming out , it was on a black Friday deal as well so it was even more of a bargain. It cost me about six quid. This is the best six quid I’ve ever spent especially if you have a German Shepherd this is worth a buy she also actually enjoys being brushed so win win win

PLEASE BE AWARE…THIS TOOL ACTUALLY RAZOR-CUTS PET HAIR; it is NOT a de-shedding comb. Likely my own fault for not properly reading the Reviews & research for this ‘de-shedding’ & de-matting comb. But, now that I have tried & tested it for myself, I need to let you know that this tool actually cuts pet hair! It does NOT de-shed, as is generally/loosely described within this Seller’s advertisement. Each curved tooth is an actual BLADE; a very sharp blade. The sharp cutting blade is underneath the ‘over-curve’ of each tooth (see photos). As you drag the ‘combing’ tool through your pet’s hair, it literally cuts fur off; it does NOT lift & gently take-out loose & ready to shed pet hair. Therefore, as far as I can tell, there really are no benefits in terms of limiting pet hair shedding all over your house; it only serves to create shorter lost/shed pet hair everywhere. I was specifically looking for a tool to actually rake-out Brenda’s (our beautiful black Show Cocker Spaniel) loose & ready-to-shed fur, in the hope of minimising her hair-fall/shedding all over our home. This tool doesn’t de-shed pet hair/fur, it has literally CUT lots & lots of Brenda’s hair off each time I have gently raked it through her coat. Please consider the suggestive photographs of pets alongside huge bundles of their own fur in this Seller’s advertisement pictures; this tool actually RAZOR-CUTS hair/fur & does NOT ‘de-shed’ fur. My own fault I know; I certainly assumed, when I viewed the product description & especially the photos, that this tool would help to take-out lots & lots of Brenda’s loose & ready-to-shed fur & would therefore help to combat the oftentimes overwhelming amount of shed dog hairs throughout our home; it DOESN’T ! However (if you feel confident enough to try!), then it is a very good tool for thinning-out your pets fur/hair & really does thin-down their winter coat ready for the summer & warmer months; it really does glide along Brenda’s top coat smoothly. As another positive, I have found that this tool really does tend to glide over Brenda’s smooth longer top coat, leaving it intact, whilst CUTTING away her fluffy undercoat. So…Brenda’s fluffy undercoat gets a very short razor-cut, a little like using clippers maybe, but without cutting the outer/longer/smoother topcoat fur(?). However, if like me, you don’t want to risk making a real mess of your lovely pet’s fur coat, please be mindful that this is a tool where each comb tooth is an actual BLADE. You absolutely WILL be giving your pet a haircut! It is NOT a de-shedding tool! I think that it is also important to note, that this tool doesn’t hurt your pet if you are careful, as each blade is situated underneath each rounded tooth; there are no sharp edges which could harm your pet. I do hope that this Review helps you to make an informed decision about this product.

Absolutely brilliant brush! Used on our 10mth cockapoo to de-shed and de-bulk her coat. Removed all of molt, mats, and her coat is now back to being gorgeous and fluffy. Minimal pulling and pet friendly, even on long, curly coats. Highly recommend!

This is by far the best brush I have ever bought for my cat! The amount of hair that comes away is unbelievable! He loved it that much he was giving me headbutts to keep brushing him. I now have 1 very smart looking little boy and he is so content he is fast asleep alongside me and purring loud enough to keep me awake. Lol Would highly recommend!

Estoy encantada. Es una herramienta ideal para gatos de pelo largo. Yo tengo un peine tipo el "furminator", pero este tipo de peine cuchilla para mi gata es doloroso porque su pelaje es muy denso y los agujeritos del peine son muy finitos. Este nuevo peine me ha ayudado a quitarle capas de pelo en poco tiempo sin que se me queje (aunque sigo tentándole con churus para este proceso). Aconsejo pasar luego otro peine que ayude a recoger pelos sueltos en el pelaje y así, tras el rasurado (y el posterior "lavado" de la propia mascota con la lengua), no se trague más de la cuenta. El color rosa parece tener el mismo tamaño que los demás. Las cuchillas no han dañado a mi gata. Se siente en general robusto y de calidad, tanto el plástico como las cuchillas. Seguiré usando este peine. Estoy muy contenta de haber encontrado algo así.

This brush saved my cat's coat! My adorable long haired kitten, Thor, is a mass of fluff. Soft fluffy hair and a high level of physical activity resulted in terrible mats around his neck, in his armpits, along his sides and the backs of his legs. They were getting so bad but he hated being brushed! He would squawk and cry as soon as I tried to untangle a mat. We tried the long bladed de-matting combs, picks, brushes, and combs of every variety; nothing worked. I was so close to shaving his lovely hair when I saw this brush and thought it might work. It’s just the thing we needed as it combs through the hair and cuts through the tangles, reducing the pulling on his sensitive skin. He’s still not a big fan of brushing but he tolerates it with this brush. Thor’s hair is so long that even regular brushing of his untangled hair pulls too much so this is the only brush he’ll let me use. A few weeks of using this brush and he hasn’t had any new mats; I’m able to get them right when they start to form. Any mats that have formed are easily removed when the hooked ends grab behind the mat and slice it away. Another benefit is that it removes a ton of hair with every brushing! I’m so glad I gave this brush a try!

If your pet has fur, you need this. I just adopted two kittens, one with long hair and one with short. The long haired one came with matted fur and I tried using scissors but that was terrifying. I looked for a bunch of matting combs looking for the one that worked the best. I liked that this one came with a comb to help detangle her fur before using the dematting comb. It made it so much easier than the others I've used. One tip is to use the wider side before using the side with more teeth. I thought this was only useful for mats but it actually works very well on just getting the loose undercoat out. Surprisingly it also works on my short haired cat who is shedding like crazy. This is really all you need for grooming. I was worried about my cat getting cut on the sharp blades because she likes to grab anything in grooming her with. The way the teeth are curved makes it very safe and keeps her paws away from the sharp edge. Overall I'm very pleased that this is such a versatile tool.

Brosse parfaite! Mon chat à long poils avait d'énormes noeuds au niveau de la queue et du postérieur. J'ai essayé plusieurs brosse sans succès. J'ai commandé celle-ci et elle est très efficace, j'ai su tout lui retirer sans douleurs et sans qu'il ne prenne peur. Je la recommande fortement.
