Quality at an affordable cost.
I use many paint detailing products but normally buy Chemical Guys. For a change and because Chemical guys products are not cheap I decided to give Poorboy,s a try. I bought four five of their products and so far I am very please with the results and cost. The SSR 1.0 work well and I am pleased with the results it gave me on my pickup, I then tried it on my 1972 MGB GT, these result were not as good but probably because of the years of built up layers of Harley Wax which is a extremely hard wax once set. Would I buy again? Yes I would and its not only the SSR 1.0 I am impressed with but their other paint detailing products. Their sealant is particularity good as well.

Works well with some caveats
The product is brilliant for refining swirls and holograms left behind by SSR-2, SSR-2.5, and SSR-3, but my main gripe with this product is that it doesn't seem to refine the clear coat as well as a product such as Autoglym Renovator or Menzerna, if you look closely, you can see an obvious haze and very light hairline swirls that are left behind, it seems to work fine with Vauxhall paintwork however.Overall, good product and good VFM, but just needs a bit more development to be on par with the competition.

It's good for very light swirls
I have a 15 year old black car, you know why I bought this.It worked ok, my paint is generally in good to very good condition bar the usual swirling, I used this with a machine polisher and did two applications. End result was acceptable but next time I would look at SSR-2 or 2.5 as there are still visible swirls after using it.

Awesome product, showroom finish
This poor boys swirl remover is the bomb, brought my paintwork to showroom finish, easy to use and love the finish. using those hand car washes you will always pick up nasty surface scratches, this will get rid of them and also light surface Mark's.Highly recommend.

Very light swirls
Light swirls, we talking very light ones that can just about be seen. Maybe it will work better with a more abrasive padbut im.not sure. I used my hand and also used super swirl remover 2.5. Easy application and easy use but as I have deeper swirls, previous owner used to tailgate and takecar to car wash and its 10 years old, super swirl 1 isn't really going cut it. For lighter coloured cars and light swirls this should world and you want a machine polisher for the best results or go one up to 2.0 or 2.5 Super swirl remover.

USED
Used for first time on Citroen DS3 metallic grey after i had clayed this 6 month old car used with a DA machine the whole car gave a fantastic shine to this colour also had real depth of colour as well. Black roof looked like a mirror and took all swirls and minor scratches straight out. Also worked well on headlights which where etched with bird lime as well.Used with a Polishing / finishing pad so will try on a more aggressive Pad for my own swirls on older and Harder Audi paint !!!
