Can i use the dryer on its own if i wanted to dry someting quicker

I'm not 100% sure what you mean but I've used a few of the cycles now and it does dry clothes well if used on a long enough cycle on the highest dryness setting. The shorter cycles don't seem to dry as well and clothes still feel damp. It can detect how dry your clothes are so of you only put in a couple of things I think it would detect when your clothes were dry and would finish earlier. Hope this helps.

As far as I know it is self cleaning but not entirely sure. My wife uses it & she’s away at present. Sorry

It’s for one year. If you phone the number provided to register the product they will extend it to two years for free . Whilst you are on the phone they will try and sell you an extended and more comprehensive insurance for the product which is not free.

If you mean the section that collects the water, it’s at the top on the left big section pulls out which you can empty
