Great Value, Rivals Kitchen Aid
I have always used a Kitchen Aid before. I didn’t want to spend that kind of money for our family vacation home so I bought this one. I have used it three times and have really enjoyed it. I love that it has a timer built in so it will stop at the proper time with or without me. It is a pleasing shape, and easy to use. I was in a hurry and just glanced at the directions but was able to easily figure out all I needed to know after the first use. A couple of small complaints: it doesn’t seem to scrape the sides as well as the Kitchen Aid, but for the cost I am wiling to do that myself. Second, to lift the head you need to actually release it from the back each time. (Maybe there is an option I could have seen if I read the directions?) I am getting used to that, but it was a little bit of a nuisance at first. All in all I am very pleased with it, and would replace my Kitchen Aid with one of these when the time comes. Definitely a good value for the money, good quality and has been easy and pleasant to use.

It worth every penny! The quality is great and it’s a perfect size. I’ve been using it for few months and I’m very happy with it! Instant Pot are the best!

Initial Review: Fantastic
I have a Kitchen Aid that uses bowl lift and have had it for close to a decade. I’ve always struggled to fit the bowl into the mixer (my mother never had better luck with it either, both of us dreaded having to fit the bowl into the mixer) and it never reached the bottom of the bowl. I troubleshooted endlessly and watched so many videos (how much time have I spent watching the paddle attachment toss a dime around the bowl?) and I had so many issues with the uneven mixing (or just completely untouched and unmixed at the bottom of the bowl). In short, my entire stand mixer experience has often left me near tears and dreading when I’d have to use it next. I haven’t had any issues with this Instant stand mixer. I had bought it only because on sale (I kept telling myself my kitchen aid stand mixer was still functional, even if every time I used it was a stressful experience) but I have no regrets. I tested it with the paddle, whisk, and hook attachments and have so far had zero issues. The fact it’s not a bowl lift means it’s easy to fit the bowl in and I’ve had no issues with mixing. In fact, my pizza dough came together more quickly and with less fuss than before. I used to have to keep adding more flour than the recipe called for because even after 30 (!!!) minutes of mixing sometimes the dough still wouldn’t come together as a ball. Without excess flour, the dough came together and it wasn’t as sticky and tacky as the dough I made with my kitchen aid. Long story short: using this mixer has been effortless and intuitive, clean up has been a dream, and it’s surprisingly light so storage and transporting it to the counter has been a breeze. I’d give it 6 out of 5 stars if I could only because I don’t dread using the mixer like I did with my kitchen aid. I’ve only had the time to try a few recipes before this review, but I will update this if my experience changes over time or with different recipes.

So Far So Good
I got this on discount for $179 or so they say. I have been using a Cuisinart stand mixer for the last 12 plus years. This mixer price is excellent. The 7.5 quarts are 2 more than I had previously. Basically I got this for the capacity and dough hook angle to prepare if my Cuisinart breaks down. I use my stand mixer almost exclusively for pizza dough. This hook has the shape with that extra bottom hook angle for a good dough hook my Cuisinart did not have. It keeps the dough kneading as apposed to turning in circles. Positives are the price, the capacity size and the very aesthetic look to the model. The paddle and dough hook are stainless and the whisk is a hybrid. I will say they do appear a little fragile or light weight and I would not be surprised if they break and I need to order replacements but I could be completely wrong. The 7.5 quart bowl is light weight in material also. My 5.5 quart Cuisinart had a lot more heft and durability to it. OK on to using it. I again use it for primarily pizza dough from 2 to 5 cups of flour and ingredients for a couple dough balls a week. The mixer has an excellent suction to my counter, however I would prefer good robust rubber feet as suction cups have a tendency to pull out of units over time. The digital display is easy to use and works well. Now my possible negatives. The top half at the mixer at the hinge is a little weak, probably due to the thin sexy look and wobbly with dense dough. Not terrible but it is not rock solid secure and is concerning the pounding that hinge will take. Dough is dense so I get that but I can't say how long this will hold up. Again, love the hook and it did an 8 out of 10 mixing a pizza dough ball nicely which is better than my $400 Cuisinart. Love the price and it looks as sexy as a stand mixer can. I do think this is a real steal at $179.99 without knowing how long it will last. I highly recommend this mixer at this time over kitchen aid and Cuisinart. This appears it may be a gem of stand mixers if it holds up. Also, Instant brand does not put out crap from the sous vide and insta pot I've have and used. Yes buy it if it is your first or replacement stand mixer for home use. Update 7/14/24: Still going strong but after I started using the grater attachment the machine has started squeaking which would tell me something is starting to break down internally or lubrication is lacking. It's only been less than a year! Hmmm, for the current $299 price I don't know if I can endorse this mixer as I got it for $179 and that is fair for what it is. At $299 just pay a little more and get a kitchen aid or Cuisinart in my opinion.

Great stand mixer.
This is a great mixer that included everything I needed. The little suction cups on the bottom that keep it from sliding around the counter were a bonus. Love it. Have had it over a year and it has held up well.

Works
My Brevell stand mixer broke after many years of faithful service. I chose this because it wasn't as expensive as a Brevell or kitchen aid and it got good reviews. I've been pretty happy. It's easy to use and clean up. The splatter shield thing actually works and doesn't fall in the bowl or make a huge problem. It is loud but not that much louder than my Brevell. It says not to let it go for more than ten minutes of stirring because it can overheat. I have to consciously put a timer on because my Brevell just shut itself off automatically. Not a huge issue so far. It doesn't have a scraper beater attachment which would make it awesome, but the regular attachments work fine. I've made many batches of bread, mashed potatoes and cookies with no trouble. I do have to stop and scrape. It's got a big enough bowl to make two or three loves of bread no more. Which is all I need. It's lighter than my Brevell. But it doesn't bounce around or anything. I push it back on my counter easily when I'm done with it and pull it out with no trouble. It fits under my over counter cupboards. My only real issue is that the knob has an obnoxious blinking light. I made a little paper cover for it and make sure that I keep the mixer head up when it's plugged in so it's not as annoying as it could be and so overall I think it is a good mixer for the price.

So far so good!
Hey! So far so good! I hope it holds up in the long run, but so far I am enjoying it. Love that you can set its timer (& speed) and it will STOP mixing when time is up. Really can continue working on other things & not worry about it. Also will time by counting up if you want to establish a mixing duration on a new recipe, then you can set timer accordingly next time around. Seems to have great power. I have made a few batches of bread so far. No issues! Also have made cupcakes and icings so far. Whipped cream cheese icing-- whipped up so nice! And perfectly. And the cupcake batter too. Its whipping ability was going to be a strong selling point for me for what I will mostly use it for. So I was so thrilled that it worked so nicely! It really was a treat- to whip up some cream and it goes so well. First time experience for me as I was wrestling with a hand mixer up to this point. Always a little skeptical with fully digital things, so just hoping that holds up. Plus the longevity piece of it as I don't believe this has been on the market for super long. So we shall see. With the price point (on sale for $200) and for the features, ANd that it comes from a brand that has so much success with its "other item" :) I was willing to take a chance on it and give it a try. So far so good ! :)

Instant Pot or KitchenAid
I got this on sale instead of buying a KitchenAid. A bit of an adjustment using this instead of a KitchenAid, but with the instant pot Mixer you get a larger capacity at a fraction of the cost.
