A proper English kettle. All I wanted was a nice quiet kettle that boils water super fast. Well mate, this kettle boils water quickly but it’s noisy as hell. So noisy in fact that if you’re at the other end of the room on a phone call and the kettles on people will as what that awful din is. Anyway I still like it, it’s cheap, boils water super fast, looks nice and hopefully lasts a long time.

It is weird to get enthusiastic about a kettle? This kettle is great. Lovely pouring with no dribbles, rapid boil and the water viewing window is in just the right place when filling (unlike my previous kettle). The only minus is it is quite loud so you may have to offer other people a hot drink.....but the lovely pour more than makes up for this.

Good kettle, boils quick, not bulky, colour is great and as appears in photos. No smells or leaks and holds temperature well. Only disadvantage is that it is slightly noisy when compared to other kettles but not too bad. Good for the price.

I bought this kettle to replace another one which looked identical, but that's as far as it went! I have come to the conclusion that the old one was actually a poor copy of this Russell Hobbs I have just bought. This RH is a lovely kettle, it just feels right when you hold it, the on/off switch has a mark of quality about it, the red light is a feature the old one didn't have and it boils more quickly. Altogether a very nice kettle at a very nice price from Amazon.

It's an OK kettle for the price, It boils quickly if rather noisily and pours perfectly, but I hate it. The water panel is on one side only which is the wrong side for me when filling it. The minimum marking is two cups which is next to useless for me and the only way to see how much water you have is to hold it up to the light and shake it because the panel is far from bring totally transparent. I found only the Bosch range at twice the price did what I wanted.

I trust the Russell Hobbs brand and always find their kettles to be reliable and of good quality. I’m giving four stars and not five because the style of on/off switch on the kettle has broken on our last two similar kettles (each time just outside the 24 month extended guarantee period), rendering otherwise perfectly working kettles useless. (The last Kettle was Russell Hobbs and the one before a different brand but with similar style switches). It is also very noisy when heating up. What I love is the easy opening lid for filling and the fantastic poring spout. It’s also a cool design which looks good on the worktop. I chose it because the price was good and it was made by a manufacturer I trust.

Buon bollitore ad un prezzo decisamente buono. Forse il look non è dei migliori ma per quello che deve fare va bene così. Scelto perché è in acciaio ( prima ne avevo uno in plastica della stessa marca) Consigliato.

J'ai voulu changer de marque, l'ancienne était de marque Moulinex. Je suis surtout déçue du bruit, elle est vraiment trop bruyante c'est ma seule déception, le reste est convenable
