This Clean Tank Cap Replacement for the Bissell CrossWave is a good value at $8.99. I ordered it for my CrossWave 2211W and it fits the clean water tank perfectly. This is a great replacement, works exactly as it should, and feels durable and well made. The appearance matches the original cap exactly so it blends seamlessly with the machine and does not look mismatched or aftermarket. The compatibility with my 2211 model is excellent. Installation could not be easier. You simply unscrew the old cap, screw the new one on, and it’s ready to use. AVOID!!!
Do not buy. Purchased 2 of these, only for them to fall completely apart In the middle of use. Yes, it fits at first. Yes, it might not leak immediately. But it is absolutely not built to last. Two failures in a row tells me this is a core quality issue, not bad luck. I’m done wasting money on replacements and done with this brand until they actually fix their product.

Breaks Very Easily and Reguarly
I wish I had a record of how many times I've bought these caps. These are so poorly made: they always break within a couple months and the way they break (with the screen popping off) makes it impossible to fix it yourself. I've resorted to just spraying the ground with a spray bottle and vacuuming over it. Will only use the tank and cap when I want to steam the floor.
