Waffle Breakfasts American Style!!!
Excellent Waffle Iron. I bought this after a recent trip the US when I was enjoying waffles for breakfast and wanted to try them at home. I liked the look of this waffle iron and like the fact you can turn it on it's side and fold the handle for storage. The iron takes about 2 minutes to heat up and with a quick brush of oil you're ready to go. I also purchased some Belgian Waffle mix on amazon that took a few minutes to mix together and then poured the batter into the iron - cooked for 2-3 minutes on one side and then flipped to the other side for a further 2-3 minutes before lifting the handle to see a perfectly cooked waffle! It was non-stick so lifted easily out just using a butter knife and it was very easy to clean. Even if you accidentally add too much batter and it over flows there's a drip tray underneath and with a quick wipe once the iron has cooled down it's cleaned and ready to go again. I went for the red colour as I think it looks quite retro and looks nice on the kitchen worktop. Kids are loving weekend breakfast treats now. So quick and easy to use. Very happy and would certainly recommend!!

Good, cheap rotary waffle maker!
I wasn't going to buy this because I read the negative reviews saying how fragile this is first but thought I'd give it a punt anyway. I'm really glad I did. While it's not the most robust thing I've seen (let's face it, it's not going to match up to catering standards), it arrived fully intact and looks really nice. The handle is quite light to the touch and I can see that it might be easily broken, and the casing is plastic too, which I thought might be a bit of an issue but on using it, it's fine. Compared to my old sandwich maker that has swappable inserts, this is far superior. The unit heats up really quickly and a couple of sprays of cooking oil before use means it's easily cleaned. I followed a couple of recipes I've seen posted on the reviews here and filled the bottom to just level, closed the lid and turned it over, expecting some sort of flood but there was no mess and 4 minutes later I had some lovely, crispy and fluffy waffles. Time will tell how this goes but yes, it's plastic and is probably left to the adults to play with.

Great waffle maker
We've had this waffle maker for a few weeks now, and so far we love it. The recipes that come with it are pretty good. We've tried the basic recipe, buttermilk waffles and chocolate chip waffles. The chocolate chip recipe is our favourite so far. The recipe uses beaten egg whites, so the waffles are light and fluffy. The only issue with the recipes is that none of them indicate how many waffles they will make! We found that the basic recipe makes 4, the buttermilk and chocolate chip waffle recipes make 5-6. It's also a bit of a guess how much mixture to use per waffle - if you use too much it leaks out. The waffle maker itself is easy to use. It only takes around 3 minutes to cook a waffle, and it's ready to make another straight away. We haven't had to spray oil on it, the waffles have come out easily so far. It can be a bit of a faff to clean though if the mix gets in any of the cracks or screw indents.

Makes brilliant waffles, machine isn't the most robust but can't complain for the price
Makes brilliant waffles, really cannot fault the waffles. I use the Luxury Belgian Style Waffle Mix (also from Amazon) and they come out crisp on the outside and light and fluffy in the middle, they pretty much are perfect waffles. In terms of the machine, it isn't the most robust or well made machine, it tilts to one side a little when you flip it over and the mechanism that holds it in place is fragile, but what can you expect for the money, just be gentle with it. Ignore the ready light as I think that is just the temperature light, wait until the steam is almost gone and they are cooked, also wait 30 seconds before flipping it over, before you add the mixture stray with those 1 cal oil spray, works a treat and they never stick.

Fabulous waffles
We were not sure about this when we got it, it seemed rather flimsy, however we were wrong. We have made several waffles and absolutely love it. We have used the little recipe book to make the batter. Have found it to be very good, they taste wonderful with our favourite golden syrup on them. Put less rather than more mix in, it does leak around the edges a smidge but you can counter that by having a paper towel handy. Easy to get out with a plastic spatula, we sprayed a small amount of oil onto both pans, but did it once without any oil, probably not advisable to do on a regular basis. The waffle maker turns easily. Really pleased with it and totally advise you if you are unsure that this an excellent price for this product.

Good well made product
Waffle maker did not disappoint. Looks good on my worktop, easy to wipe clean. Handle folds so easy to fit in my drawer when not in use.

Probably the worst made product I’ve ever bought
The day I received this waffle maker, I repacked it and sent it straight back, thank the lord for both Amazon Prime and the no fuss returns. This has to be one of the worst products I’ve ever bought, the quality of construction was UNBELIEVABLE!! All components were loose and poorly fitting, the design of the cable meant that every time the waffle part was turned a 180 degrees, it wouldn’t’t sit horizontally guaranteeing leakage of the batter. Made in China, literally stank of burning plastic the first and last time I powered it up. Absolute rubbish, how on earth anyone can give this product any more than 1 star is beyond me, suspect reviews me thinks. Bought the Breville DuraCeramic and even though it doesn’t rotate, it makes fabulous waffles, family just tried my first efforts and got a thumbs up from all, a happy Dad and a great Sunday treat. Keep a look out for my other review on the Breville, honest, unbiased opinion

Excellent item, terrible service
The waffle maker itself is brilliant, bought as a gift for my mrs who has always fancied one. I spent ages comparing to try and find the best one and the features of this seemed to be ideal. The overall quality of it seems great so far, the red plastic casing does look and feel a bit cheaper than it looks in the pictures but tbh I expected that to be the case. The recipes in the book are good and the waffles themselves come out really nice. Make sure to oil it before use and clean it carefully after though. She is very happy with it and loves making her own both sweet and savoury ones and has experimenting with the recipes to make loads of variety in them too. The seller and delivery however was a nightmare. 4 days in a row I was told the delivery had failed at specific times however each time I was home, one of the days I was on the front doorstep fixing the door at the time they claimed that. They never attempted delivery at all. They then said they needed additional info to redeliver but I could not get through to anyone to find out what or why! Repeatedly messaged the seller who was less than helpful and had to go through Amazon to chase it up and force the seller to refund. In the end it turned up after cancelling the order anyway and due to me spending most of Christmas in hospital I hadn’t been able to get a replacement in time. So when I was discharged from hos we opened and had a look and the mrs liked it and wanted that one over any others. It turned up well over a week late, was ordered with plenty of time before Christmas, and it was near impossible to find out where the parcel was, what the problem was, if it was actually going to be delivered at all and to have them lie 4 days in a row saying they attempted delivery as well is very bad! Especially when the seller and customer service do nothing to help or look into it for you! Summary: Waffle maker is brilliant, recipes are good, seems a sturdy bit of kit but a little cheap on the plastic finish and not the easiest to clean. Seller, delivery and customer service were a nightmare and I won’t buy from them again.
