Electric blanket bed warmer
Just got it, plugged it in, It is the same size as my si nake bed with fitted sheet and no strings atached. Tested it on 2+4, and the 2x heat settington (Max) for legs and body, and set the timer at one hour. Heated up, and then I disconnected it. So i guess I am to say "tested and working" Hope it lasts because last one lasted a few days and then alas both timers decomissioned themsleves early one after the other, but make good spare blanket . I got one thinking g in between purchases than the real price of this bed warmer may cost £125 and even up to £15 for said such luxury of keeping g warm. Because the price is so cheap to run, amd yiu as thus get nothing g for nothing. 2p that's £8 for 6 months use is peanuts.Considering g the price of the cheapest heater Halogen but that's maybe 10 times the price or more to heat. So i have got a more expensive one this time. Yiu can get econemy 7 heati g , amd that as we know own is the cheapest. But the storage heater cost what of a fortune. A small radiator will cost you £150, a, medium/large will cost you £350. So i guess 3conemy seven is not cheap, you have to invest. The only proper way to keep warm is to buy lots of bankets. But the problem is not getting g into bed, it is "Getting out" The room is freezing and theres Birds eye peas the wife has stored next to the bed. If you have no roof on the back part of the house upstairs it will be very cold. Indeed you get what you pay for.And i guess £150 will get you one of these that work. or just get a fan heater and put near the bed. and other fires like central heating , and a electric fire, please, us the fan heater, and the elctric balnket , secondery doubled glazing and pyjamas. And maybe the old one the sleeping bag. And maybe consider the format from days gone past the four poster bed, designed to cover with thick cloth blankets. Or a heat pad. So five stars for effort as i just own it's how much phone you invest. I maybe will need two over time. You may get confuses about how to use such aplications. Some may be confused as to do you uses a fitted sheet over it? Some also will claim only use it to warm the bed, then turn it off, amd otjer insist once bed is warm, Take of the blanket because laying on wires can brake the blankets system, cause shorts, and end up going up in flames. If this blanket does not work i will use the electeic fires and central heating g. Amd keep blanket electronics for the value of the blankets

Update to previous review
We love this blanket, plenty warm enough, large heating area reaches the bottom of the bed so toasty feet. Very warm and comfortable to sleep on even when switched off. Unfortunately one controller packed up after 5 months. We contacted the supplier Futura direct through Amazon and they immediately replied and advised us to swap the controller with the working one to be sure. Upon confirmation to them that we definitely had a faulty unit, one was despatched to us free of charge and it arrived 2 days later. Can't fault that for customer service.

Warm - Well Made - Fits Perfectly
This review is written by my better 3/4 whom is far better placed than I to review a lekkie blankie being the female of the species and therefore basically in love with a warm bed. So, over to The Boss.Electric blankets seem to have gotten far more complicated for no real reason - I wanted one that fitted the bed and warmed it up, and this one does just that. The blanket is a 'fitted sheet' type, so no silly strings to feed under the mattress. This means the blanket is easy to fit and stays in place once on the bed. It is a good fit on our king size mattress with no overhang or places that aren't covered. There is a control on either side of the bed, so can be operated independently, with 3 heat settings and an auto shut off function after 1 hour. Some other reviews have commented that it doesn't heat up very quickly - true. In my opinion for optimum 'oooohs and ahhhhs' when getting in to bed it needs to be switched on for about 50 minutes before bedtime. If you want your bed to be hot after 5 minutes, set fire to it, but don't be disappointed when you have no bed to sleep in.For me this blanket ticked all the boxes for my requirements, I didn't want my feet to be warmer than my upper body, or 11 billion other different settings, I just wanted my bed to be warm on cold winters nights and this blankets simple controls do just that. This blanket replaced the previous almost identical model after a number of years use.

Just like my previous one except the electric connectors are rather difficult to engage
Comfortable and heats up quickly. Only problem was the electric connections were very difficult to engage and I definitely couldn't remove them!

Slow on heating up
It’s a good value for money blanket but it takes so long to heat up, at least an hour and even then it’s not that warm and we are not into winter yet! It’s easy to fit and very cosy as it’s fleecy.

Best £40 ever spent
This totally transformed my nights - I used to get up in the night to feed/comfort my little ones, only to get back into a cold bed and then take ages to warm up and fall asleep again. Almost as soon as I had, I was up again to see to the little ones. With this, I would get back into a warm bed, fall asleep straight away, and increase my zzzzzzzz by a million. Totally worth it. Love it. After last winter I washed it and have stored it for the summer. I am curious as to whether it will still work. Am going to try it tonight as my toes have started to feel the cold half way through the night! We will see...

Excelleny
Excellent blanket covers the whole of our king sized bed . The controls are under the pillow and no wires can be felt in the blanket . It does take a while to warm up but very pleased with this purchase.

Electric blanket
Slow to heat and not that warm even after a while. Fine for me I don't like it too hot but partner has to put it on 1/2 an hour before bed.
