Got these because I broke my pinky. Very happy with them, but have only used them for 2 workouts. They are well designed and well made. Wrist padding is soft but sturdy. No pinching or rubbing of skin. Wrist straps are strong with lots of area for the velcro to engage. Velcro is strong and doesn't unhook on it's own even at the ends. I can pull the straps very tight on my wrists almost until it cuts of circulation. Metal hooks are strong and with deep "pockets". They can hold all my weight ~170lbs with a 2-hand pull-up without any risk of the metal deforming or bar slipping from out of the hook. Hooks also have a textured coating so they won't scratch the bar. No metal on metal. I still engage 2 fingers over the hooks when doing a pull-up. Probably 90% of the weight in on my wrist and 10% on my fingers. I could probably completely disengage my fingers and have all the weight on my wrist without my hand slipping through. But I don't yet have the confidence to try yet. Cinching up the straps extra tight does deliver more confidence. Besides the help of avoiding the broken finger, I'm also able to lift more as my grip is no longer the limiting factor. I can go slower on an exercise without worrying my grip will fail. Bent over one-arm rows are noticeably easier. Only downside I found with this product, or any like it, is I cannot wear a fitness watch.

Man these things are awesome. My gym put in deadline stations and didn't gwt Olympic bars. The bars just spin. Due to my arthritis, my grip isnt what it used to be, but these?.....I can lift some weight with these. They are comfortable, look great, adjustable with strong velcro, they are pretty sturdy, never slipped and easy to fit in my gym bag. Highly recommend!!!! Dont think about it, buy em. And the price was nothing!

I’ve developed tendinitis in my hands that prevents me from gripping, which is a huge bummer, because my back had never been bigger or stronger after 3 years of training. Sucks to suck I guess. For the most part, this helps. I’m a female with small wrists and when I first put them on and saw that they are too big to fit me snug because of the way the padding closes, I didn’t think they would work. After using them, I realized they don’t need to be a tight fit because when they are, they’re very uncomfortable and cut off the circulation to my hands and my wrist is taking the entire load. In summary, I like them because they allow me to do **some** pull exercises without making my injury worse. HOWEVER, I would NOT recommend these for anyone who is not injured or otherwise doesn’t *need* them. I can’t speak for how durable they are because I can’t lift very much relative to a man anyway. The reason I don’t recommend them is because it breaks up the chain of active muscles and makes any hypertrophy exercise such as single arm cable rows much more difficult to feel the right contraction because your forearm isn’t doing anything. That said, I haven’t had any issues with deadlifts or barbell rows, pull-ups, however, would feel better without them. That’s just my personal experience though, obviously buy at your own discretion. Don’t buy if your wrist is smaller than 6 in or 15 cm in circumference because that’s what mine are and they just barely work.

Absolutely worth the money. Thick and extremely comfortable wrist pads, the hooks can support my dismal future and not break a sweat. I bought them specifically for farmers carries, cause my itty bitty kitten strength grip just can't support the right amount of weight, this solves that problem. Fantastically made product, from the hooks to the straps to the stitching.

Great wrist support,durable, fits like it should. Would highly recommend if you struggle with the bar.

If you have large hands, the hooks don’t allow you to use your fingers at all. I am a first time user of this style, but it just doesn’t feel secure enough. The wrist wraps are amazing, but all I could focus on was the bar trying to slip out of the hook, or the hook slipping down the bar. Great for close grip rows, but lay pull downs or pull ups are a no go for me. IMO. Great quality built, great material. Hooks are metal and have a textured grip to them.

better than real versa grips IMO I like that they're not sticky so they don't get stuck on the bar when I'm trying to pull out the slack

Heavy duty, solid construction and importantly comfortable for use. Definitely increased my weight load with these.
