I bought it for hiking because it is light (2 ounces) and very compact for hiking and backpacking. I think the magnification is 8x; identical to my binoculars. I was worried with all the bad reviews but I think that is just people wanting a $50 telescope for $5. The clarity is not completely terrible; it is blurry on the sides but you can see what you want to see.

This this is a joke not even worth a penny, there is no real zoom on it at all. It doesn't work at all with my phone it just sucks, I'm seriously thinking of not buying from Amazon if they can't find good companies to purchase from if you give a reason other companies look into their sellers and get rid of the bad ones!!

For the price and what I got it for were perfect for me I like the compactness and weight but doesnt feel like the most rugged optic out there for sure but its $8 so its fine Eye relief is pretty much nonexistent which is weird you pretty much put your eyeball in it The clarity of the lens was surprisingly pretty crisp at least more than I was expecting to get out of a cheap monocular I cant imagine this lasting that long though build quality and materials arent the best obviously

Well I mean you get what you pay for. It works fine, but the fov and eye relief are terrible. There's probably a better product but at this price range, it does work for looking down range and such. I wouldn't have any illusions about hooking it up to a phone.

yes this is a one star item, but it's seven bucks and honestly if you use it for mini viewing scope instead of more range for your camera, you be better off doing that. Honestly it's decent for seven bucks but not worth it for people with serious interest and or hobbies of photography! Do keep that in mind, this is not for people with extreme interest in quality of photography, i'd even consider this just a toy to get your kids interested a small fraction of what this could really do if you brought a more costly and better optimized phone scope with a greater adapter to function with.

Not bad for the price Although the phone holder is not the best because it doesn’t really work on my iPhone 15 pro max. But i love it and it durable and waterproof. Really lightweight easy to hold the focus is pretty good and the black is good for looks but I wish they had a camo.

Super cheap price, super cheap quality, Everything is blurry, distorted, and the adjustment knob has no effect. why people produce such kind of products. Waste your time, waste my money.

Maybe ok for a small child however the view finder has to be exactly in line in order to actually see through it. ( kinda cheap)

This product didn’t work on my iPhone 16 pro max and the quality is below par. I tried to return it but the return address is not the same as the one listed in the post office, now I’m stuck with it.
