Outstanding motherboard, love those PCI-E Gen 5 M2 drive speeds
I have a second PC with a MSI MPG Z790 Carbon WiFi Gaming Motherboard and wanted to build a second with this motherboard in a Hyte Y70 case. I thought it would be a longshot, but I took my boot drive on a Corsair MP700 PCIE 5 drive and cloned it onto a new Crucial T705 PCIE 5 drive and used it as the boot drive on this new motherboard and to my shock, Windows installed the necessary remaining files automatically and I had my new PC running within minutes built off of my old M2 drive. Of course, this is probably only because the motherboards are so similar, both MSI Z790 models. But this motherboard is outstanding. I am getting very close to the advertised sequential reads/writes of 14,500/12,700 MB/s on my M2, which is blazing fast. And the CPU is running great. I love all the USB-C and USB-A ports, especially that there are two Thunderbolt 4 ports on the back. Some things to keep in mind:- If you plug in something into PCIE_2 slot, like a second graphics card, you lose the M2_4 slot, it will not work. It will also drop PCIE_1 to x8 instead of x16.- If you plug something into the M2_4 slot, you will lose SATA_7. Keep this in mind if you have a lot of SATA drives AND M2 drives.Overall, I couldn't be happier with the performance of this motherboard.

I makes for a good base unit but is adaptable to grateness
lt has all the options to support a complicated flight simulation program.I have packed this computer with 3 M.2 NVME's , 2 SDD hard drives and a I9 for power. it does the job.

It 9s good
I have used it and I have not had a problem yet. I have used it for over a year end. The performance is good. The built in wi fi works well. There are enough u s b ports, but I wish there were more u.S b c ports that's support a display.

The Motherboard has caused my computer to Blue Screen every 10 minutes.
When I bought this it worked for a little bit and when I got new RAM my PC has been Blue screening and cant even have my computer on for more than 10 minutes at a time.

Top notch board
Picked this up in January for my new gaming build.I have it parted with a 13900k and RTX 4080 with 64gb of 6000mhz ram in a Corsair 5000D case. This is probably my 4th MSI build.Board was good out of the box. Had to update bios as you should with a new build. No issues with it the last 6 months. This thing is fast and has all the bios options for overclocking you need.Pros:1.Good bios layout. I am a fan of MSI.2. All the M.2 slots are nice as I like to run multiple SSD’sCons:1. Didn’t come with a physical instruction manual just a QR code to get a digital version. Kind of annoying having to look at a screen to look up anything info you are looking for. Every other MSI motherboard I have owned came with a physical manual and a map of all the connectors on the board.

Great board with really stupid flaws
This is a great motherboard for a full tower. problem is if you use this on a new build. For some reason this board does not come with the drivers for the networking adapters installed on it. Because of this, the Ethernet ports will not work out of the box. If you are familiar with Windows 11, this means you are going to have to override the networking requirements on a new install AND install the intel networking drivers on a USB to install onto your computer. This is a really stupid way to scare off people who aren't experienced enough to figure these things out.Lastly, this did not have the most recent BIOS drivers installed either. I figured this one out because I could not play POE2... again, a really stupid way to confuse new customers.

New MSI MEG ACE motherboard next to my old MSI Z590ATX motherboard for size comparison
Awesome motherboard looks fantastic and runs like a champion!!! Understand the difference, though that this is an E – ATX motherboard meaning it is bigger than just about all the others which will require a specific E – Atx motherboard caseI didn’t realize this up upon purchase and had to buy another case, but I’m still completely happy with the motherboard!!!

Concerning quality control issues
I bought this after reading so many complaints about ASUS. The product, though, was disappointing and I ended up returning it. To start, the box does not come sealed from the factory. It's not a huge issue but, for this price tag, I would expect to have the peace of mind of knowing that the product was not tampered with or used and all the accessories were there. I also noticed that a lot of connectors on the PCB were crooked. There was also one dissipator at the top that had its fins bent. Again, not something I would expect from a brand-new and expensive motherboard. The last straw for me was when I wasn't able to have access to the M2_1 socket. It's a screwless installation where you press a button and slide/pull the heatsink to remove it. Mine didn't. I felt like I was going to break something if I kept going. Something wasn't right. I got tired of this and decided that this was probably a warning of what was to come with this motherboard. So I just returned it and got a new one from a different brand. Haven't had any issues since then.
