Easy to handle at the sink. Maintaining a steady grip while emptying water into the sink is so much easier and safer than when I have to use the bigger pots. Making sure the steam holes are positioned is easy for protecting the wrist/arm when nearest the pot because it is a smooth edge and fits just well enough without leaving a gap. This helps steam from the boiling water to not make contact with your wrist/arm area. This is a good size to use when cooking spaghetti for two, a pot of fresh green beans and other items than require a good and not real large quantity of food. A regular pot of chili or stew still requires a large pot. It is large enough to cook enough vegetables for 4 or enough soup for 3.

I needed something more light weight than my 5 qt. pot, and I also wanted to move to stainless steel instead of nonstick. I chose this pot because of the description and the reviews, and I really am happy with it. It's easy to drain using the clever lid that has draining holes on two sides (one side has smaller holes and one side has larger ones). I use a pot holder to hold the handles, and the lid is designed so well that it's simple to use. I highly recommend!

Used it already, and it stains easily, especially on the bottom of the pot. Don't know if it is because I have a gas stove and/or because I use medium heat.

This pot is very sturdy yet lightweight. The handles on both the pot and lid make it easy to grasp and lift--perfect for seniors. The pour spouts with holes on both sides are great, as well. Also, it's easy to clean. Definitely a keeper, it should last for years.

Terrible burning smell and discoloration every time I user this. Threw it out after 4 uses.

This is my favourite of all pots I've purchased, ever! The design is perfect for someone who makes a lot of soups and pastas. The pot is also really easy to clean. I plan to buy another, even larger version, and to donate my older huge pot. I absolutely recommend this pot!
