UTG 3X Magnifier with Flip-to-side QD Mount, W/E Adjustable

Clear product to look through. Looks smart, nice weight and fits straight on to a raiser block or Picatinny rail. UTG brand assembled in the USA Value for money.

seems to be more novelty than practical as it distorts the red dot and does nothing for the image, not easy to move to one side and move back in position. just use a red dot or a proper scope.

Quite a clear view and magnification, but a little stiff. Especially on the flip up. Also sits a little to tall to work with most optics I've tried. I'd need a riser to get it to work properly, otherwise I have to hold my head at an awkward angle to line up the sight

The overall quality feels pretty good, but the eye relief is very poor and the mechanism to flip the sight is extremely stiff, requiring incredible amounts of force to actually engage the locks to flip the sight to the side; from an airsoft perspective, I cannot see this sight being practical for the latter reason as you'd have to spend time trying to flip the sight instead of being able to do it on the fly. Also, it is too tall for my 551 sight. 551s sit quite tall as it is, so using this magnifier for reflex sights will be largely pointless; the actual dot/circle will appear blurry because the focal point between the magnifier and the sight is uneven. Of course, you can combat this by mounting the sight on a riser, but you shouldn't have to (especially since genuine EOTech risers can be unnecessarily expensive). If you're an airsofter reading this review, I would generally avoid magnifiers unless you absolutely want one and know it will fit your sight, or buy one that is designed to fit specific sights such as the Vortex magnifier.

good quality and do a good job on magnifi my red dot, but you have to pull it back so you can rotate and it is super hard to pull back you can't actually rotate it on/off join use.

Bought this magnifier in 2020. Was working great. Till few weeks ago 2023. The item has now broken looks like there's water in the magnifier. The prisms have moved. Rang customer service and I was told there wasn't anything they could do. Also the rotating arm so stiff I can't flip it to side with out un-shouldering the firearm which could be dangerous when loaded. Takes a lot of effort.

Der 3-fach Magnifier bringt + eine ausreichende Vergrößerung + keine Verzerrung oder + gute Stabilität (auch auf einer GBB- und vermutlich auch auf einer RS-Waffe wackelt beim Schuss nichts) + einen sehr soliden Switch to side- und QD-Mount + top Verarbeitung mit. An diesem Teil gibt's nichts zu meckern! Von mir gibts dafür 5 Sterne und eine klare Kaufempfehlung, auch wenn der Preis - wie ich finde gerechtfertigterweise - etwas höher als bei vergleichbaren Magnifiern ausfällt.

Très bon produit, vision claire cependant à la manipulation du flip (pour la bascule) n’est pas facile, l’aspect tactique à zapper sur ce produit, à voire peut-être y a un coup à prendre, on verra.

I purchased this 3x magnifier a couple weeks ago and have to say that this is a perfect example of price not equating to quality. I have it mounted on a FN PS90 set up right against a Mepro M21. I spent a lot of money on this gun and sight as I like to have quality items, but when searching for a 3x magnifier I came across the UTG 3X Magnifier with Flip-to-side QD Mount and based on the reviews I decided to give it a chance, and if it did not live up to expectations I would send it back thanks to Amazon’s liberal return policy. My first impressions on this magnifier is that this thing is built to last, it seems to be built like a tank and feels like it can come under a lot of abuse and still stand strong. Like other reviewers pointed out, it DOES take a good bit of force to move into place, but I find that when you have your rifle stock pushed tightly against your shoulder it is not that difficult to move (and I would rather have to put a little muscle into moving it than to have it flapping around from the guns recoil). The images I attached show the optic quality to be a bit blurry, but that is my phone trying to focus so close up to it and not the magnifier itself, it is crystal clear and partners extremely nice with a red dot (at least with the Mepro M21). I found it to be zeroed in when I first installed it requiring no additional adjustments to have it be spot on. I took it out to the range the other day and shot several hundred rounds downrange with the optic moved off to the side as well as it centered with my red dot and it performed flawlessly, not moving even a centimeter. I also found that at 50 yards I was grouping shots at less than an inch when using the magnifier and unlike others I have used, you do not have to move your head around trying to see straight down the center to acquire your target, but has a pretty liberal amount of play so you can most likely use your typical cheek weld and still see your target. I highly recommend this magnifier, do not spend more money than you have to and give UTG a shot (no pun intended).

Fantastic product at a decent price! The optics are decently clear and the mount matches the Bushnell micro sight ant UTG mount perfectly.
