Fort building set for kids
We had purchased a set from Lakeshore Learning store, and we noticed we needed another set, because the first box was just not enough especially for my child's height. So I checked out on Amazon, to find something similar to what I had recently purchased, and this was exactly the same look alike I was hoping for to match and to connect with the set we have, and it truly does and actually has more parts versus the box I purchased within a store. I'm so happy I ordered this and so happy I picked out the exact item to match with this collection, now all I have to do is find a sheet that can fit the entire fort we built. Although I wanted a tent at first, I found that the fort building said would be best since my child likes to participate with building and I also put into consideration his height in a regular tent would not be of best fit for him, so the fort is perfect for active children and those that have a little height on them at young ages. It is easy to assemble, and if your child is tall while young I definitely would recommend ordering two sets instead of one. The quality is great but I would also recommend teaching your son not to lean on it nor try to sit on the sticks they are wobbly but build at your best creativity to control most of the wobble.

Fun for all!
Yes! So much fun, easy enough for my 6 year old to create!

I think it's the best of the bunch
kids love it. It should come with a bag though and some of the snap connectors can come apart, but it seems to be the best of the options. Following the design suggestions in the book is a good starting place but kids really love using their imagination and going off script.

great grand child gift
My grandkids love this! and their parents like it too....easy to set up and take down, throw a blanket or sheet over it to make a fort. Compact for storage....perfect gift from grandma (AND it doesn't make noise!)

It works, but isn’t the most sturdy.
I figured this would be the go to seeing as it was a cheaper option compared to some of the other models. I built my daughter a clubhouse style fort and used king size bed sheets to put on top of it after I finished. The fort held up, but the bracers bend so easily with bed sheets alone. I would not recommend using anything thick for shrouding it. I have my doubts this will hold up for a long time and can see it breaking after a couple of uses. I will say it was a lot of fun for my daughter and can build forts at multiple different sizes which is a plus.

Building
This is great, pretty durable, but it's fun to experiment with the fort. It's easy to build and self explanatory, worth every penny.

Great activity for the kids. Nice and strong with heaps of options to design different forts.

Plastic seems durable for the price. Comes with an instruction booklet which includes different build options Great kit for the toddlers (and I'm sure for older kids too). Will most likely buy another kit as the kids get older to make even larger and elaborate builds :) I do think they should make a sheet or some sort of covering as a separate accessory to purchase

Built some great forts and memories with kids. I would say though that I don’t feel it’s robust to be a real fort that could be lived in and stop advancing armies. This would be down to the poor quality of plastic used and the fiddly nature of achieving some of the angles. Goo overall though - don’t use this as a survival bunker.

After buying another brand of similar kit was not good we tried this olefun one and it's great. The poles are much stronger and they click into the connecting balls which are larger and stronger with holes in the correct positions for building shapes. Grandson loves his tent we built together.

Fair product and kids love it, disappointing the box came with 2 faulty rods so cannot make all of the structures.
