2m x 1.5m x 3mm Checker Plate Matting - Anti-Slip Black Rubber, Waterproof Flooring

I bought this checker plate rubber floor matting for my catering van conversion, Sugar Catering, because I needed something tough, safe, and easy to maintain. At the time of writing it's been 5 months since I finished my conversion. The matting has proven to be very durable under heavy daily use and has really helped prevent slipping — which is essential in a busy van environment where spills happen. A few tips from my experience: Avoid using cotton or linty mops, as the fibers cling to the rubber surface. When it arrives, some edges aren’t perfectly straight, so measure carefully before cutting to fit your space precisely. The non-slip surface really lives up to its claim and looks amazing — it doesn’t stain and easily passed the 5-star food hygiene inspection. Overall, the quality feels excellent, making it a fantastic choice for professional catering vans or kitchens needing a safe, reliable, and low-maintenance floor surface.

Bought to line the boot of VW Amarok. Absolutely perfect. Really good quality cut easily with scissors but still appears strong and durable. So far very pleased fitted with ease. Much better quality than I expected.

Estimated delivery time changed and item arrived slightly later than originally stated. At 3mm thick its easy to cut to your exact chosen size with a good pair of scissors and can be rolled up like a carpet for storage. The chequer finish to the top surface offers a reasonable grip when dry, however this may become less so when wet. We're going to be using this on an outside ramp and my concern is that it may be a little slippery after a rain shower. The company offers various sizes and thicknesses and I probably would have been better ordering the 4mm thick instead for my requirements. For price, durability and ease of cutting to size, I would recommend this product 👍

Used as a car floor / boot liner and have dog crates on top. Good quality and non-slip. Very good value for money. The product is strong smelling but this subsides within a few weeks and isn't a problem. Definitely recommend this product.

I was very pleased to find this size precut to almost what I needed to fit my shed flooring. It was very heavy for me as it was to handle but was just about manageable. I am in my late 50s, female and was thankfully able to install this by myself. The intent is to house my ice pod so that water / condensation does not get to the wood installed underneath. I have yet to test out the ice pod and chiller (not in pic) and hope all goes well condensation wise. So far so good and I am very pleased with the flooring. I was very surprised at how easy it was to cut with a pair of scissors as it was so heavy. I was expecting it to be a challenge to cut but nevertheless was pleased as it meant I was able to cut it to size with some spare. Once I test out the ice pod and use it a few times, I will report back re water tightness / condensation etc. I think it will be great 👍👍😃.

As expected and arrived promptly

Product arrived on time and well packaged. I bought a 6x4 keter shed which came with a base, but was not sufficient as it required a bit of extra protection for the amount of stuff you put in it. This matting provides extra protection from tools in a shed and was simple to cut with a pair of scissors. Overall I recommend this matting to protect a plastic shed base.
