Plug and play if wired directly to Fusion NVR
My wife and I were looking to get a doorbell camera but my concern was the existing doorbell is mounted on the side wall adjacent to the front door so we would see a side view of the entry door. Also, it was WIFI so problems connecting could occur. So, I opted to go with this camera as we already have a LOREX Fusion NVR and I wired it directly to the NVR using the supplied network cable. Using the Lorex Home app on our phones we were able to view the camera and use every feature this camera has. My wife's phone is an Apple, my phone is a Sampson android. In the past I have connected cameras to the network with a POE switch only to have the cameras go offline over time. Resetting the network would fix the problem but they would in time go offline. Using a static IP probably would solve that issue but I never tried so I can't verify, but I have never had a camera go offline that is wired directly to the NVR.

4 out of 5 due to issue with adjustability
Image quality is good, cameras seem sturdy. All around easy to install and use with one exception.you can’t rotate the cameras on their axis which makes mounting the cameras a real pain.

Don’t waste your time and money
After a week of intensive labor, meticulously running cables and installing conduits, my excitement about the Lorex camera system quickly turned into profound disappointment. To my dismay, the cameras fell into two deeply frustrating categories: non-functional or defective in their core feature - motion detection.Firstly, the cameras that didn’t work at all. After all the effort spent on installation, discovering that some units were completely inoperative was a major letdown. This is unacceptable for a security system where reliability should be paramount.Secondly, the cameras with dysfunctional motion detection. A key feature for any modern security camera, its failure renders the system inadequate for basic security needs. It’s not just about recording footage; it’s about the ability to alert in real-time, which these cameras spectacularly fail to do.This experience not only reflects poor product quality but also a significant oversight in quality control. For a brand that markets itself as a leader in security solutions, this level of unreliability is not just surprising, it’s unacceptable.I expected a robust, reliable system, not a week’s worth of wasted effort and a security setup that cannot be trusted. Lorex, you’ve let down not just a customer, but someone who trusted your product to secure their home and safety.Rating: ⭐️☆☆☆☆ (1/5)

Not easy to set up and need extra equipment
We got this because we wanted extra security for our backyard. Unfortunately when my husband went to install it you needed an extra piece that doesn’t come with it and you have to buy extra. We wish this was stated in the description when we bought it. We returned it.

Not working.
One of the cameras stop working after a year. No way to fix it. Can't get ahold of seller.
