House of Gold & Bones

I'm going through a very rough time in my life right now...between Stone Sour, Slipknot, his books, and the multitude of videos on YouTube, I'm indebted to Corey Taylor for helping me stay sane and sober. This book is beautifully drawn and written, and is a "sit down and don't stop till you're done" read--I recommend it to anyone with even a passing interest in graphic novels. You won't be disappointed.

Arrived early and in great condition for used. I'm a huge Corey Taylor fan just didn't realize I'm missing 3 other issues. I'll order them next. Awesome artwork and story line.

The same great story of internal struggles that is included in the booklets of both albums. Great artwork to help the reader visualize what exactly Corey Taylor envisioned in his head. This comic includes all three parts of the story.

I bought it because I like Stone Sour and Corey Taylor. I don't know much about graphic novels or comic books but I did enjoy this. As far as comparing it to other comics or graphic novels, I would be no help at all. The best I can say is give it a shot!

I'm a huge fan of Stone Sour, and Slipknot. When I seen this comic I had to pick up it. It was a great lead just what you would expect from the twisted mind of Corey.

Bought to try to make sense of the albums. Worked. It was an enjoyable ride.

I love Corey Taylor, Stone Sour, and Slipknot and for him to envision the story portrayed by him on his last album is amazing. It is a must buy for fans and graphic novelists.

Dis Monsieur Taylor!Tu pourrais te concentrer sur l'écriture de chanson, parce que la bd, elle est encore sympa mais c'est pas non-plus un chef d'oeuvre. Avec le niveau de tes chansons, j'avoue que j'avais un très très haut niveau d'attente sur tes autres productions. Donc fatalement, l'effet contraste se fait ressentir.Bref, sympa, on redécouvre un peu l'univers de Corey, mais ça ne vaudra jamais un album.

A brilliant accompaniment to Stone Sours albums 'The house of gold and bones parts 1 and 2'. The story is familiar because it's in the album liner notes but this comic richly adds to the story with some fantastic artwork and images! I really admire Corey Taylor's vision with his recent output, and this, together with the songs and videos really adds to a thrilling adventure. Corey plans to release a film version in the future so looking forward to that. If you like the albums and the story behind it then pick this up!

Es ist schwierig über dieses Comic-Heft (ebook) zu befinden, ohne auf die Story einzugehen. Aber ich sag mal ohne Spoiler so: Corey Taylor verfasste einen ansprechenden Text bzw. Story über das Zu-Sich-Selber-Finden. Die Zeichnungen sind gelungen (die stammen nicht vom Stone-Sour/Slipknot-Sänger), Teil der Story ist jedenfalls das gleichlautende zweiteilige Album "House of Gold & Bones".Empfehlenswert ist es aber, das ebook mit einem iPad oder anderem farbdarstellenden Tablet zu lesen. Am paperwhite-Kindle macht das keinen Spaß.

This was such a great score. Corey taylor is an amazing writer n then art work was sick. Even have the cds as well to go with the book. I'd def recommend to anyone any time:)
