I bought this split bowl when I bought the main feeding unit. It comes in a range of colours of which I chose blue for my boy, Jasper. It was something I personally thought was necessary as Jasper has a wet & dry diet, like most cats & it obviously needs to be separated & the main unit only comes with a regular bowl (a ploy probably to get more money out of us!). That said, I'm more than happy with it & it's easy to clean.

We originally bought some for a microchip feeder we no longer need to use, but I've decided to order more as replacement after a few years as they're really good quality and one of our cats likes to have dry and wet food available at the same time (not that she's spoilt or anything haha)

Having two cats and one of them always eating all the food and the other one starving, I purchased a SureFeed microchip feeder. It came with two bowls, a regular one and a split bowl. I have solved the problem of the cat eating the other one's food since she now has the microchip feeder and he cannot access her food, but I noticed that when I went out of town, the cat sitter would top up on dry and wet food without cleaning the bowl. So I purchased this split bowl as a backup and asked the cat sitter to switch the bowls in the microchip feeder during each visit and clean it. The bowl fits perfectly and the pink color adds a cute touch. I am definitely happy with my purchase ☺️

Obviously I already had one that came with the original feeder, but I bought another one exactly the same and this has proved really helpful to use every other day. I am delighted with it. Just right for the job.

The main advantage is that wet food can go one side and dry food the other. Cat loves switching from side to side.The fox stole my old one, so I had to replace it with another just the same.

My cat loves using this dish as a stand alone dish. I put soft food in one compartment and dry food in the other. I think she can also tell the pink colour because I have one that's exactly the same in gray and she is not keen on that one at all!

per carità le ciotole vanno BENISSIMO, super compatibili con il Surefeed, ma nella foto (quando ho ordinato) si vedeva una ciotola divisa in due ed una unica. pertanto mi aspettavo di ricevere entrambe.invece ho ricevuto solo due ciotole separate :/Delusissima :( ho ordinato da un altro fornitore.... speriamo bene. per una dei due gatti ho assolutamente bisogno della grande.per il resto tutto perfetto, consegna velocissima.

It works. Training does take a few weeks. Patience is needed, but worth the wait for the cat to get used to it (took almost a month, stayed for a week at each of 4 training levels, much better than spooking the cat and needing to start again--do it slowly, follow the suggestions in their manual, and the cat does get used to it). You can control exactly what your cat eats, and what your dogs or other cats do not eat (which works if you have one feeder for each cat). It is useful to buy a second bowl for the feeder, to alternate and keep them clean. Other than that, this feeder is great as provided.

Ich habe von SureFeed bereits mehrere Schalen, sodass diese bereits bekannt sind. Laut Hersteller soll man die Schalen nicht in die Spülmaschine räumen. Ich habe dies bereits getan und bisher haben die Schalen auch das überlebt.
