Looking at the ingredients, it does not contain any meat products so yes it’s vegetarian. I think people get confused by vegetarian and vegans.

it is a powder - mix with tepid water and add to boiling water. A very tasty mix i have used for over 30 years

Q: How long does this item have after it is opened please,. ie does it have to be used in 4 weeks like Maggi dehydrated potato 4kg ?

The expiry date is written on it. But I usually use it even after expiry date for extra 2 to 3 weeks, and it will still b fine. I am fussy with expired food though. But it lasts for more than 4 weeks. I still have mine. I eat it a lot. With fish and chips. Sunday roast, when I have cooked vegetables as well. Very yummy. I have had that big container for more that 2 months. But I am sure by the time it expires It would b finished. Enjoy the gravy.!
