Padico Hearty Soft Clay 200g [White (Japan Import)

Ordered this from KM-Japan and it only took one week to arrive from Japan, so was very pleased with the short wait and will order from this company again. The price was the best I could find online, anywhere. I love this soft clay and will now use no other make since finding it. Like other reviewers have said, it's a kind of marshmallow clay, very soft and spongy. This was important to me as I've had endless problems with other types of paperclay which dry very brittle and are prone to crack or crumble when dry. This make of clay is like a mix between marshmallow and polystyrene but can't be crumbled or snapped in two when dry as it's very bendy, so is perfect for using on weirdly shaped objects or furniture. I use it in deep silicone molds and the results are amazing. It is very easy to handle, very pliable out of the pack and not at all sticky. Very easy to paint and attach to curved wood using a good PVA glue. This will definitely be my go-to clay from now on. EDIT 25 Feb 2020: Ordered again from KM-Japan, this time it took nearly 3 weeks to arrive but I always re-order before I get to the end of my current pack so as to always have stock in my workshop and never running out. I use this clay a lot for my molds and wouldn't ever consider any other since having experimented and found so many problems with alternatives. My only grumble is that I wish it was sold in larger packs. EDIT 23 May 2020: Was about to re-order from same supplier but annoyed to discover the price has shot up to £11.50, more than 50% increase in just a few months! I appreciate we are in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic but a price increase of this amount is pure greed so I will delay my order in the hope that the price goes back down at some stage. Very, very disappointing.

easy to use. this was my second purchase of product. light and easy use and drys quickly.use for molding toppers for cards and other craft work takes acrylic paint well.

I always use this clay for my silicone molds to make Xmas tree baubles, it is the best I've ever used and worth the extra money. However, this purchase arrived with the packaging torn and bite marks, small bite marks. So I checked the integrity of the clay and luckily only the clay at the opening was affected, so I wrapped it in clingfilm. To the seller - ffs check your products thoroughly before selling....

Brilliant soft clay

I always come back to this clay. Why, its light weight, easy to mould due to the softness and drying time. Never fails me.

Not the best, very tacky

As I said very soft like working with a marshmallow also there was an odour with it slightly unpleasant this clay is ideal for making flowers and jewellery I have made a coaster with it but don't hold out much hope would buy again but only if I go back to making Rose's think I will stick to Das as this is the best I have used

This clay is a must have for use with silicone molds. Easy to use. Less mess. Releases from molds clean and shows details perfectly. Dries with minimal cracks and accepts paint readily. I will purchase many more in the future.

とても使いやすいです。 粘土の種類によっては、すぐ乾いてひび割れてしまうものもありますが こちらは伸びも良く、ちょっと乾燥しても水分を足せるので扱いが楽でした。 他の粘土と混ぜても良いみたいです。 乾燥後は、ほどよく固く、弾力があります。 一度開けてしまうと乾くので、霧吹きしたジップロック等に入れておくと良いそうです。

Morbida liscia leggera, si secca velocemente all aria quindi bisogna lavorarla in poco tempo

This works so well in silicone molds. It releases very easily. I love that it is so light way and can be glued onto my craft projects without weighing it down. It is pure weight and easily paintable. A little higher priced than other places, but is hard to find.
