More than just a colouring book
This lovely chunky A5 paperback stands out among colouring books and is a welcome addition to texts aimed at developing children’s well-being.As well as pages to sketch and colour, there are spaces to write and reflect, plus words of advice and wisdom scattered throughout, along with genuinely useful guidance. The focus is on managing feelings rather than being solely a colouring book to reduce stress.The content and layout will appeal to younger readers/teens and the pleasantly simplistic text and images make it child-friendly. However, this should not deter adults from picking it up and delving inside; it is by no means childish. Although it is intended to help when life is tough, it can be picked up and used when life is good too. The diary-style pages provide space to record personal thoughts and experiences, or to do some optimistic journaling about the future. This book is as flexible as its owner.Delightfully put together, this charming book will become my go-to journal / colour / sketch notebook for 2017. A great gift for a friend, for parents to share with children, or for yourself.

A big hug in book form
I wish this book had been around when I was younger but am I certainly going to enjoy now! Full of gentle wisdom and beautiful illustrations this is so much more than I was expecting. I cannot think of a single person I know who wouldn't love and treasure this. It is like a cosy hug in book form and I am really looking forward to trying this out with the teenage girls I work with. I think this book will add a wealth of activities to their wellbeing programme...I just have to share it with them first! (will have to buy another copy for them as this one is mine! ) Great job Pooky and Emily

Simply Wonderful
This beautifully written, crafted and illustrated book has many wonderful ideas to help cope in a healthy way.I use the poems and ideas to help me remember my strength and as helpful positive affirmations such as - 'small things become great things when done with love.'I love to draw and paint so the pictures are wonderful for calming.I share and celebrate the book with those I work with both adults and young people. I highly recommend this book and I know you will love it!

With permission from the author I have used pages from this book to aid facilitation of therapy sessions with young people. I have found it a valuable resource to aid engagement and understanding of the importance of trying out various coping strategies to create your own tailor made 'go to' book of helpful ways to manage when things are hard. The young people have all given it positive feedback and have asked where they can buy their own copies from to keep in their calming boxes.

Fantastic well being journal
This is a great journal for well being and relaxation. Makes you think and helps in the healing process. Took this abroad with me and coloured it in while I was by the pool and reflected at night,

A fantastic litttle book
A wonderful book full of fabulous poems, colouring pages and uplifting quotes. I use this book with my sudents to support social and emotional well being and it's worth every penny ! Highly recommended for any age to use.

A lovely book
I've used this in my job working with young people in schools . I've now bought it for my teenage daughter . It's a lovely book with tips and advice to manage stress, anxiety and other feelings.

Great adjunct to therapy
As a child therapist, this is a perfect gift for my students. It not only has a multiple places for them to journal their feelings, it has inspirational quotes, places to doodle and color, and ideas for better coping. This serves as a useful reminder at home of things we work on in therapy. I like to remind my students to also journal about good feelings, too. I also like to help students personalize this with an activity to create their own unique cover for their journal.

It's more than a journal and color book
I love this journal and coloring book. It's perfect for all moods. Wonderful quotes and activities. I would strongly reccomend.

Great for indivdual or group therapy
I bought this book for ideas to use in therapy and my clients love it. They enjoy the journaling activities and the coloring.

A very informative and useful book!
This is a fantastic book and useful for both teens and adults. Sometimes it's hard to figure out what it is that we're feeling and experiencing and this book helps with that process. The pages are full of activities, questions, coloring pages, and journaling pages. There is a lot of good stuff in this book. The only two things I don't like. I should have paid attention to the details when I purchased this book. It is much smaller than I expected. Due to the smaller size, the drawing pages go right to the edges of the page. Therefore, there is no way to color the side next to the binding because there just isn't any room or way to hold the book open. Just a matter in regards to authoring any book, there are many quotes shared in the book and none of them have reference to the original author. Should always cite your source and give credit where credit is due. Otherwise, this is a terrific fun book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Great when you are stressed
This book has helped me alot the writing and coloring also the quotes.. had alot of loss this year my best friend, boyfriend/loving father, of 10 years and grandpa all within months of eachother
