Lockout Tagout Station
The media could not be loaded. It is a well-thought-out and all-encompassing solution that precisely suits our particular requirements, and we highly recommend it. Because of its layout and organization, it provides quick access to all of the necessary equipment, which substantially simplifies the process of putting safety standards in place. When our team is working with potentially dangerous gear, it is important for them to remember to follow the protocols; thus, the station's bright color and clearly labeled components serve as a visual reminder of this fact. The safety padlocks that come standard with the station are of exceptionally high quality, constructed from long-lasting materials that are up to the task of withstanding the demands of commercial usage. Because of the one-of-a-kind keyways, each padlock will have its own specific set of keys. This will reduce the likelihood that the keys will be lost or stolen and will prevent unauthorized access to secured equipment. Padlocks that are color-coded make it simpler for employees to recognize which pieces of machinery have been removed from service for the purpose of maintenance or repair since they promote efficient identification. In addition, the installation of two hasps in the station has substantially facilitated better teamwork and increased productivity for our group when we were doing maintenance tasks. Numerous employees are able to operate concurrently on the same piece of machinery thanks to the capability to attach numerous padlocks to a single hasp. This not only improves the efficiency of cooperation but also keeps everyone safe.

Two keys per lock
Electrician here. This is going to be a long review. Let me get the basics out of the way. This is a wall mount station. There was a box included, which had "Key and Screws" printed on the front. One can see that box in the top/left of my first picture. For what that key might have been, I am unaware. Only the screws and anchors were in the box. None of the padlock keys were missing. There are two for each lock. Perhaps the key was for a cover. If so, both the key AND the cover were missing. Not an issue for me (as one will soon read). The padlocks are numbered (second pic), as are each of two corresponding keys. That's nice. There are 30 tags with brass grommets to prevent tearing. Also nice.Aside from the locks and tags, there are two multi-lock hasps. Rarely needed; but, good to have. Now, I get to pat myself on the back.I was just going to throw all of this stuff in a Klein zipper bag and call it a day. I do not need a wall mount unit. I am not a stationary maintenance electrician. I move from job to job. The zipper bags to not provide much protection against heavy impacts or crushing weight though. The tags would get creased or folded. Smaller things (like breaker locks) might easily be damaged.I just happened to have ordered a hard-case that I had yet to use. I believe the case was originally intended for some keyboard or another. I had planned on using it for SOMETHING job related instead. I just had not know for WHAT I would end up using it when I was placing the order. After a few quick measurements tonight, the decision was easy.Half an hour later, my oscillating tool and my grinder had cut the wall-mounted station to fit perfectly inside the keyboard hard-case (pic 3). I even saved the placard (pic 4) and might rivet that to the front of the case (the yellow matches all of my DeWalt). The interior of the case has a zipper net in the top half which is perfect for all the keys, hasps, zip-ties, and there's even room left over for a few breaker locks and whatever other goodies I can slip in there (a couple Sharpies for sure). I will be reviewing the case on Amazon too. If one wants to copy my ingenuity (aforementioned pat on the back), one only need to check my other reviews for the same product.Anyway... I was so happy with the results that I sent pictures to a few of my electrician friends. I think I'll post it on Trade Hounds too.

Wonderful Value, Excellent Quality, Well Packaged, Well Made
I recently ordered this Lockout Tagout Station and I am extremely satisfied with it. The set includes everything we need to safely lock out equipment during maintenance and the storage board keeps everything organized and protected. The padlocks are of high quality and I cycled them many times to test them and they operate fully and easily. The yellow storage board is a nice touch as it helps to keep the station clean and organized. What you see in the product photos is exactly what you'll get. It's perfectly sized for the price and use, and excellent for a small/midsize shop, single machine room, substation or infrequent use. (No spelling errors either, and the synthetic reusable tags are very nice! You'll probably need more zip-ties eventually, but it comes with a thick stack of them). Mounting hardware included too, which is really nice.Overall, I highly recommend this Lockout Tagout Station to any workplace in need of a reliable and OSHA-compliant solution for equipment lockout. Really excellent quality for over 50% less than McMaster or Grainger!Five stars!

DECENT TAGOUT STATION
I love the steel hasp from this station which allows you to properly lock the same system that needs to be tagged out for multiple jobs. The station is set up nicely for the hasp and the padlock, which allows you to instantly inventory your station to see if you have outstanding tagouts that used the padlocks and steel hasps. But I am not a big fan of the two compartments for your reusable tags. You will need to use a logbook anyway to keep track of the tags, so I think it would have been better if this space was one big compartment where a binder or a logbook could be inserted. The tags could be kept inside the binder or logbook. The padlocks has nice unique keys but please note that they are not security padlocks, so they may feel flimsier than your normal padlocks. But they are perfectly suited for their job as tagout padlocks. It also has the label on the back where you can also write your padlock number, so you can accurately associate each padlock to the right job number.Overall, it will make you OSHA compliant but you may need to tweak it a little bit more to make it a truly safe system for your work place.
