Brilliant toy, keeps pup occupied
Brilliant toy, very robust. Keeps my 17 week old pup distracted. Particularly calming when they don’t quite know what to do with themselves and their energy.

Best food dispenser toy I’ve found
I was looking for a food dispenser toy as a boredom breaker for my working cocker spaniel and as a method of making him ‘work’ for his food to help manage his waistline! I’ve had various types before but they usually don’t get used, either because they dispense food too easily and only last a few minutes each time, are flimsy and break, or are too difficult and he gets bored trying with no reward. This one is great; a good size and really robust, and the weighting combined with the ability to vary the size of the dispensing hole means it’s just difficult enough without being too difficult. I put his kibble in it each evening, along with a few pieces of treats to make it even more interesting, and he spends a good half hour pushing it around till it’s empty. It really keeps his attention and he looks forward to it each day; he knows when it’s time and gets very excited waiting while I fill it! By the time it’s empty he’s ready for a sleep, so it definitely tires him out mentally and physically. As some other reviews say, it takes a few minutes to get the kibble and treats fed into the hole to fill it, but it’s a very minor niggle and certainly wouldn’t put me off buying it. Definitely well worth the money- if you’re looking for a food dispenser toy for any reason, I’d highly recommend trying this one.

Good concept. One of the dogs liked it!
Great food dispensing toy for my dog. The dispenser is quite large, and the top unscrews to put the food in My Border Collie, played with this, under supervision ,for quite a while. Dropped a star because the top kept coming loose and I had to keep tightening it. Didn't work for my lab x springer as she kept chewing the top to try and get the food out. The concept is good, but doesn't suit all dogs.

Great fun
My dog loves this! It keeps him amused as long as the treats last but he has lots of fun with it and will ask for it to play with (not just for the treats which he gets anyway). My only criticism would be that it is hard to clean inside.

Absolutely fantastic!
We've had this for 3 months now and it's brilliant. Our puppy Molly loves her food and nothing slowed her down, she inhaled it! We tried all the slow feeder bowls and they didnt work, we tried different games for feeding and she just picked them up and turned them over to get the food out all at once. The Bob-a-Lot is brilliant, really really sturdy, it's heavy so she can't pick up and swing it around, and it dispenses her kibble slowly enough for her to actually eat it properly so she doesn't get indigestion or make herself sick. She's now 11 months old and 28kg and is fed twice a day. I got the large size and it is it's big enough to hold the full feed (Tails dry kibble - which has some fairly big bits in it). The only slightly annoying thing is it takes a few minutes to fill up because her kibble is quite large so has to be fed in slowly because there's a guide hole to make sure you don't put things in that are too big to come out. Makes total sense, you just need to make sure you factor in the time to fill it. It's brilliant, buy it.

Great fun initially but can be frustrating for puppy and humans in different ways
I have a 20 week old labradoodle - you know, the hyper energetic fluffballs which need constant entertainment. So, desperate for a way in which to keep her occupied while we get ready for the school run (mad and chaotic enough as it is with two grumpy tweenies) we hit upon the bob-a-lot. Looks loads of fun and I like the colours - bright and cheerful and I'd read somewhere that dogs can only perceive the colours blue and yellow. So there is a bright yellow knob on top. We bought the big one, as she is a big strong puppy. It's heavy and sturdily built, and operates like Mr Blobby - you sit it on its purple bottom and it rocks as your furry friend paws and bats away at it. Easy for humans to operate - unscrew the top yellow knob, there is a little door that you can slide away to reveal an opening. Pour in your kibble - now, this opening isn't big and it does take some time to try and push the kibble down. It's not a free flowing process - it can be an issue if your puppy gathers that you intend to give the bob-a-lot to her (she does have sharp hearing and she can hear the clattering of kibble as they fall through the bob-a-lot even from the next room through closed doors!) - so I'm just saying it takes longer than you would expect to fill it up. Also, the entry door and the exit door are both very small - so certain treats from certain brands may not fit through. So this is the frustrating bit for humans. There is a tiny door on the big bulbous purple bottom - it is a stiff sliding one and you can pull and push it to adjust the opening. The idea of course is that the dog rocks the thing and out falls a kibble from the purple door. You make it easier at the start so they get the idea and then you push the door halfway open so as to make it a little more difficult for the kibble to fall out. The thing is - invariably at some stage, the door will slide shut. And as much as my puppy tries, she can't grip hold of the tiny door to slide it open again - apparently I read somewhere that this was another part of the 'play' element. I don't see how - the little handle attached to the door can only be moved aside by using my fingernail. Anyway - maybe my puppy isn't going to win any Nobel prizes - she hasn't figured that out. So what happens is that there will be frustrated barking and whimpering as the rest of the kibble gets locked up. So the human friend has to go and tend to this problem every now and then....which is kind of defeats the purpose if you need to sneak away and get things done, like make lunch boxes, help smaller children to get dressed, hurry same children to put on shoes etc in an already fraught situation. So this is the frustrating bit for both dog and humans. After a while, she's a bit 'meh' about it and does leave half the contents in the bob a lot. Otherwise, puppy loves it - the entertainment value just doesn't last for as long as I would like it to be.

Ottimo acquisto, il mio cane si esalta e si stanca, ne consegue un prolungato riposino!! Non indicato per chi vive in appartamento dal secondo piano a salire...il rumore per i vicini di casa non sarebbe accettato! Per me ottimo acquisto!!

Köpeğim önünde bıraktığımız her şeyi parçalıyordu. Bu oyuncak sayesinde havanın kötü olduğu günler çok rahat ediyoruz. Önüne koyuyoruz hem parçalamıyor hem enerjisi atıyor. Mental olarak çok rahatlıyor.

My doggie loves it and instead of 2 second inhalation of his dinner I occasionally put it in 3 doses into this. A bit noisy when on tiled floor, but amazing when we have visitors or poor weather to keep doggie busy and entertained

Permet a mon grand chien surexcité de s'occuper pendant 20 bonnes minutes aux repas, et de se fatiguer au passage. Fait un boucan infernal (serait parfait si couvert d'une matière type silicone) mais vaut largement la peine.
