Spot on
The dictionary of civil engineering cant really be faulted. It includes everything that the cover would suggest and what could be hoped from the title. It would be perfect for an engineering student in the first couple of years of study of the subject, but could equally be useful to experienced students and qualified engineers to terms that havent been used for a while or are completely new.Of course, as in a normal dictionary, fine details arent included but it gives you a very good description of the term and often other terms or information that can be researched from more specialised material.

Very useful
I find this book a very useful reference, I am an engineer (Alhamdulillah), I keep it at my desk and reach for it reguarly!I have found the odd engineering word that is not in the dictionary, but that's not a big deal. I do recommend the book. Thanks, Imran.

Brilliant for Referencing
Brilliant little starter book. I work as a planner for an engineering company and this really helps when I get the odd email with terms I'm not familiar with. Small enough to keep on your desk.
