I love using these affirmation cards with my little one! They are easy to simplify to discuss based on age, and the pictures are super cute!

They come packaged in a sturdy storage box and the cards themselves are made to last with a glossy surface and thickness I'd estimate at about 1.5x that of playing cards (though significantly larger and easy to read). For younger children, you'll need to help them with the backs, which are informative (provide definitions of some of the keywords - such as mindful, determined, authentic), but also provide talking points, examples of how to demonstrate the quality being discussed and offer suggestions for related exercises and activities. Each card (which I'd suggest incorporating into a game: i.e. - you draw and discuss a card when you land on a certain spot), is worthwhile having the child read on his/her own, but most effectively a starting point for discussion. Primarily helps kids with mindfulness and positive self talk, which can reduce anxiety, improve esteem and result in improved overall mental health. I'd suggest these would be most useful for children from 4-12 yrs (under 7 w/substantial adult guidance), though potentially helpful with younger teens as well. I love these cards! I got these several months ago and somehow lost the package inside my house. I found them today and they are amazing. I wish I had found them sooner so I could start them with my son. You get 30 cards that are large enough for toddler hands. They are made out of a thicker card stock with a glossy coating. Each card has an affirmation and animal on one side. The other side has an explanation of the card and some suggestions on how to accomplish the affirmation.I want my son to have all of these qualities. I hope you buy this set for the children (or adults) in your life.

I chose these cards because I want to try to foster self-love in my child and increase her confidence.I love the sturdy, pretty box the cards come in. The cards are large, thick, and laminated. The cards have nice, soothing colors. Crisp printing. The product quality is five stars. I like that the cards are large enough where I could hold one up for my three kids sitting a few feet away, and they would be able to see what's on the front of the card, while I read from the back of the card.For the age of my kids, I had them play a little game. I handed them the cards and asked them, "Which cards describe you?" One of my daughters picked 4 cards... I asked her to tell me why she chose them and I think it was a nice exercise in appreciating some wonderful things about her. My other daughter went through half of the deck and chose zero cards, so I went through the half of the deck she was holding and started giving her examples of how all of these positive traits apply to her.We will continue to use these cards in different ways. I see a lot of potential here. It's a very thoughtful set.

These are so sweet and I love them but they started peeling after a few months.
