KitchenAid Universal Steamer Basket, 10-Inch, Stainless Steel

Easy to clean, fits a variety of pot sizes, does everything I want it to. No complaints at all! Very happy we switched to this from bamboo steams that are such a pain to clean.

This is a nice unit, well built. I use it to steam veggies. Make sure you check the size of its opening in your pans, but no worries

At the behest of a former food network star (arguable greatest food mind there is), I purchased this multitasking item and enjoy it very much!

Great quality, not flimsy like the ones I bought at the supermarket. I doubt it will have to be replaced as often as the other brands…

It’s ok but the individual blades are not attached very well to the spine of the basket and can fall out. I used a dinner knife as an attempt to further secure the blades to the spine - so far so good. The handle in the middle gets in the way more than it helps. If I bought again I’d go with the basic and not pay premium for the brand name.

WOW, it works so well, is foldable and stores so easily! And this stainless steel steamer basket is very pretty also. Feeling much better about steaming my vegetables too - much more nutritious. I have found the KitchenAid brand to be very high quality (we have their refrigerator, range and microwave oven) and this fits right in with our expectation of beauty, longevity and practical daily use.

I bought this because it was Kitchenaid and higher priced and thus assumed it would be durable / good quality. Highly mistaken. The center handle of the steamer basket is held on by 3 tiny screws that loosen and fall off with very little resistance/weight. Within a couple uses, it broke off when I tried to lift it up. I should have returned it then, but instead I found a tiny screwdriver to painstakingly reconnect the little screws what turned out to be temporarily. This has happened 4-5 times since when I purchased it 6 months ago and now the screws don’t hold it on at all. $30 in the garbage and now I have to buy another one… but not from Kitchenaid.

Very practical

Good size steamer

Excellent product. Used by food network chefs. Does not rusts and dishwasher safe. Popup center is very handy. Fits most pots.

C'est cher mais tbk que ca fait bien

A high quality steamer basket made with (relatively) thick stainless steel compared to most alternatives. It doesn't dent or bend out of shape as a result. I'd prefer if the legs were an inch tall but at half that, the steamer takes less space.

Excellent compact stainless steel steamer
