Absolutely love it!! My son is obsessed with robots and when he saw this one he wouldn’t stop asking about it for weeks. My husband and I did a little research on it and decided to buy it and the matching tank to surprise him. I am SO happy we did. Now our older daughter wants the pink one with the tank because they interact and can battle each other in their little tanks. So cute!! lol The robot itself is noticeably great quality but still light to hold in little hands. It’s also sturdy enough that my very rough 4 (almost 5) year old can mindfully play with it without it breaking. I love that it comes with so many fun little games, phrases, and keeps my son engaged for long periods of time. You can also adjust the settings to change their personality! My son liked to make her cranky lol so she gets mad when you lift her up. I recommend watching YT videos to learn all the features, games, etc. since there’s a lot to explore! The only downsides is that I do wish it was able to talk back but I believe if you order the bigger base for it from their website then it can do that and connect to the internet, etc. Another thing I noticed is the battery life can be a bit short particularly when we connect it to the tank and he drives it around in play mode (like a laser tag kind of game) but it charges pretty quickly anyways. I would also say I would recommend this for slightly older kids if you’re unsure if your kiddos will be gentle with it because it did take us some repetition to remind him to take good care of it. We had to be mentally prepared for the potential devastation of him accidentally breaking it lol but it’s been a few months and still going strong! I would have probably waited until he was older but he literally jumped with excitement at every single package Amazon delivered to our house for weeks so we caved 😅 I am still glad we did and very happy with our purchase. I’d def recommend this fun little robot for 5+ kids, teens, even adults as a fun little desk companion. It makes an awesome gift!

It didn't work at first. I started it up and was met with a text menu where his face should have been. I couldn't find any way to control the menu. From what I saw in youtube video's, the toy should not have started in that state. I'm wondering if it was used. I suggest buying it directly from the Eilik website. I eventually got it to work after some updates and it's a really neat novelty item. I'd love to see a future Eilik that teams up with a game developer where the bot would react to the game and be my little sidekick.

My 6 year old son got this for Christmas and it just happened that it would have needed to be taken apart to fix our issues. It wasn't working and my son was really upset. Reached out to EnergizedLab for help. They told me to reach out to Amazon for a new one. I was very disappointed. By time we got a new one Christmas break was over. I got my son another kind of robot for Easter and that company sent us a new one as it stopped having sound the same day. It would move around but no sound. Just a heads up to other parents to check it if it is a gift as ours needed something we couldn't fix. It also needs updates and has a conductor magnet to work on it. Things that weren't mentioned for the cost. I expect it to work and not be such a hassle. Not a fan of this company. *update, got the new one. The company sent a very impolite email when I told them I was surprised they didn't just send one out. I also don't like this robot. More annoying to listen to than anything. Doesn't do as much as you'd hope for the price. Definitely going to look at the other robots at are popular on YouTube. My son wanted another to attach the one he has to. Definitely won't be doing that after our experience.

This robot was so so cute but I had to send him back for He drove me crazy after a while. He took my peace away for he wouldn’t be quite. He wouldn’t do what I wanted it to. But I am sure there are people love it also.

Bought this in like 2024-2025 and it was amazing since i saw the robot go viral online, when my aunt’s toddler came here he made him as his friend, so i think a 5 star review since my aunt’s toddler loved it
