Good illustrations and instructions. Not a big book, but covered what I needed.
I’ve drawn for years but had not touched a pencil or paper in years. I’ve taken up carving and really needed to understand the structure of the eye, nose and mouth. Also needed to work on my proportions. This book helped my immensely. Good illustrations and descriptions of how to draw face components.

Such a great book for beginners!!
A month ago I decided I wanted to start drawing… just as a quirky little hobby to keep me off of dead scrolling on social media. To my surprise I’m completely immersed in this and I’m so excited to see how far I can go. So I purchased this book in hopes that I can learn properly and it’s a game changer. It gives you step by step instructions on how and why to do certain things. Which is great because when you know how and why to do something , you can build on that as you progress. I added a pic of my first ever ear and the second pic is a comparison of my ear and the example ear in the book! Again I literally just started drawing in the beginning of September. This is such a great testament of how good the instructions are in this book! I will definitely buy more books from Leia Bloom!!

Good if you just want to have fun something to do
This is actually a nice book but it’s really a book for beginners in my opinion and not very comprehensive in discussing techniques, more for copying and getting familiar with the drawing

I bought this book for grandkids who love to draw. I didn’t intend for them to read it, but just take cues from the examples and to use them to copy for practice.

Not as good as I thought
Not great I terms of explanations and steps to follow if you are a beginner artist looking for some tips. It’s ok, but not very instructive
