Wonderful find
This natural zinc and calendula cream has been such a wonderful find. It is 100% natural and feels so gentle and soothing on the skin with no harsh ingredients at all. It sinks in nicely without feeling greasy or sticky, and has really helped calm redness, spots and irritated areas quickly. It works perfectly for everything from small blemishes to dry patches and rashes, and I love that it is safe and kind enough for sensitive skin too. The jar is lovely and well made, and a little goes a long way so it lasts really well. It does exactly what it says and I would absolutely buy it again.

Amazing cream
I bought this cream to treat a serious case of dyshidrotic eczema that had spread over my right palm with small, itchy, watery blisters, dry flaky and cracked skin that was red-raw and split.I had tried several other natural balms that had all been effective for the first few days but without fail a small outbreak would lead to my whole hand flaring up again within a few hours.I was blown away by the effect of this cream. I used it little and often throughout the day and always applied within 3 minutes of washing my hands and before I went to bed.Within four days the blisters were greatly reduced in number and the skin looked softer and far less angry. In fact, my hand returned to a more normal skin colour - rather than the crusty red it had been for 6 months. The progress after 10 days was remarkable and I could hardly believe the improvement.I kept using this cream for several weeks and now my hand looks like its old self again. I still use the cream if I feel a bit of an itch, but now I largely use the Lyonsleaf Calendula and Marshmallow balm to help rebuild my skin barrier.I do realise that everyoneโs skin responds differently to skin care ingredients but I can honestly say that for me this cream has been transformational.I can highly recommend the Lyonsleaf products and it is wonderful that a natural product has allowed me to dodge resorting to steroids.

Good for skin, it's work

Definitely worth a try
I get a skin reaction on my hands to virtually everything, including scent free emollient creams and ointments. I've been using this for about a month, and while it's not a magic solution, the oily base has helped quite a bit. Definitely worth a try if creams aren't helpful.

Wonderful cream!
Fantastic product!Insect bites are a nightmare for me; the itching lasts for weeks, and my skin takes months to recover. Iโve tried various products, and this cream has been the best. I feel relief from the itching immediately, and my skin starts healing faster. It feels like a natural protective layer on the skin and is almost odorless. I plan to buy the larger size. One happy customer here.

Started well, but soon stopped working
I bought this product on the back of lots of positive reviews, which these days is quite risky, but it has turned out to be the right move.I have a couple of patches of (what i self-diagnosed as) Seb Derm on my cheeks, either side of my nose. As with these sorts of conditions, you spend ages on the internet looking for various solutions to the problem and end up going round in circles. At first i had been washing my face with a dead sea salt / water solution but it's relatively expensive, messy and doesn't work 100%. It never really brought a balanced feeling to my face, and while it cleared up 80%+ of the problem, there was still some redness and soreness. Eventually it seemed to slowly stop working.Next I tried head & shoulders shampoo - each day i would rub a pea-sized amount into the affected areas, let it sit for 2 minutes then wash it off. This worked very well for about 18 months, and one bottle would last a year, so a cheap solution. However that shampoo is full of loads of things that aren't really meant for the sensitive skin of your face, and eventually it stopped working so i stopped using it. I think the only good thing in the shampoo for seb derm is the zinc oxide, so that set me on a path to find a new product with zinc oxide, which is what takes me to this Zinc & Calendula cream.I simply followed the instructions that other reviewers left - i.e. wash your face, and a bit later add some of this Zinc & Calendula cream to the affected area, using as little as possible. Because there's so much zinc oxide you really don't need to use much - it's quite thick/dense. I've been trying to use as little as possible and only once a day. So shower in the evenings, wait a bit, then apply. I found there was fairly instant relief from the soreness sensation, and as each day passed the visual redness gradually disappeared. I probably looked a bit horrendous for the first couple of days where the skin was healing; i had a mixture of flaky, peeling skin and the cream mixed together, but i always got the feeling it was working so i'd have to just live with it for a short period.I'm now 7 days in and my face is 100% back to normal in terms of visual appearance and feeling. Of course the ultimate test would be to stop using this for a week and see if the condition returns, as anytime i stopped using the shampoo, i would have red sore skin within 2 days. So i won't claim this has permanently fixed my face, as i don't know for sure, but it feels so much better than both of the previous solutions.Seb derm is an excess of oil production and the zinc oxide helps deal with that, perhaps the other elements of this cream will help my face naturally fix itself from within so i can stop using it, but even if that doesn't happen, you need to use so little of this product that it'll last an age.As for what triggered the condition - i don't really know 100% either, but i would definitely advise against using any kind of alcohol based products on your face. For me it was suncreams like P20 and Ultrasun - as effective as they are, alcohol is too strong and drying for my sensitive face. I think the dryness triggers the oil production and that's where the condition begins. There are suncreams out there with zinc oxide as the base (i use ThinkSport), again they're quite thick but you just have to rub them in.My personal view is that once the skin is disrupted and damaged, it won't fix itself without some kind of intervention like this cream, but where as the dead sea salt and shampoo solutions treated the symptoms, i'm hoping by using the cream for long enough it will fix the root cause. I do not think that diet is related either, i've tried dairy-free / gluten-free / low sugar etc for sizable periods and it didn't help - it actually made me more stressed from cutting foods out. I exercise frequently and eat well, and while that helps with many things, seb derm seems too specific an issue for that alone to help resolve it.Update Nov 2019It seems to have stopped working.Iโm back on the head and shoulders routine and balancing the dryness that brings with a light moisturiser. Thereโs a website called simpleskincarescience that has a wealth of information on this skin condition.

Amazing!!!
First review ever for a product, but after a year or more of trying all types of creams I came across Lyonsleaf, absolutely changed my confidence. Applied thinly every night here are the results after 2-3weeks! Also taking Zinc supplements daily. My nose rosacea is also noticeably less red.

Miracle product for perioral derm
Fantastic product. I've struggled with perioral dermatitis in my previous pregnancy and this one, only one brand of lip balm helped last time and they stopped making it! I felt my lips flaring up and thought I'd give this a try... honestly within 2 days of minimal use the corners of my mouth are healed!! Miracle product!

This stuff is amazing ๐คฉ I have been struggling with really bad perioral dermatitis for months. Nothing I tried worked to clear it up. I have been using this cream along with a very gentle face wash and it is almost completely cleared up!
