Uncomfortable
The product is a little uncomfortable due to the material. It seems to work, but will take 6mos to a year to see the final results depending on the condition of a person’s toe.My advise is to wear every day.

Pain Relief
I have been wearing these for only a couple of hours a day-in the evening, and they have helped tremendously with the pain. If I don’t use them for a day or two, the pain comes back. Very happy with them!

Silicone Ring is an issue.
I've had a bunion on my right foot, which suddenly came on about 15 years ago. I used wide rubber bands over the bunion to provide some relief whenever it bothered me from too much walking. Dr. Scholl's splint fits my size 8 wide foot fine. The ankle strap was a little long, which I trimmed. The issue is that the silicone ring is too deep and no padding in the middle. After several hours, my bunions slips deep into the ring, causing me pain. I have to immediately remove splint. I put gauze in the middle of the ring and hopefully that solves the issue. Dr. Scholl's should have not made the ring so deep and placed a silicone padding in the middle.

Pleased so far, worth the price
I have a small bunion that I noticed starting last year or so. Not very painful yet, but definitely starting to cause problems.I decided to try this solely because it is Dr Scholls, because I trust the brand enough to spend $15-20.These are very comfortable, much more so than the photo looks. The instructions are quite easy to understand, and the splint itself is easy to figure out. Very easy to adjust to fit. They seem very sturdy and well made, and I would be very surprised if they fall apart soon. The quality of the materials is very good, and they are very well made. No scratchy stitching or labels, and definitely no jagged velcro.I can feel the ligaments stretching when wearing it, and the information guide does explain that it can be uncomfortable at first because of this gentle stretching. For this reason it advises to start with 30 min at a time and work up to no more than 8 hours. For me, I can tolerate this “stretching feeling” for about an hour here at the beginning. Not sure it can reverse anything already happening, but definitely seems like it can keep things from getting worse at the very least.

Not much use.
Hard to apply. Hard to keep on foot. Doesn’t do much.

Worrisome packaging and didn't work
The media could not be loaded. I haven’t tried them yet, but this is how the box came. I looked like the box was opened, lazily put back together, and returned. The splints inside looked fine though, they didn’t look used or had a weird smell/ stains. I’ve used splints before, so I’m pretty sure this one will be fine. The splint seems to be one size fits all, and the straps are adjustable. There is also some gel padding bc where the big toe joint is supposed to go. The packaging made me a little worried, however.Update: 5-6 days laterSo I’ve been using them for about a week and I do not like them at all. They actually made my bunions worse and now they are in pain. The bunion correctors become very uncomfortable and painful after only 2 hours of wear, and I had to take them off because it was unbearable. The pain was so bad that I woke up out of my sleep 2X to take them off. I tried to adjust how I was wearing them because I thought that may have been the reason for the extreme pain, but I cannot do it anymore. In the short time that I have been wearing these correctors, the bunions have grown, so now I will be booking a doctors appointment to see a podiatrist.
